USA News and Poland - part 19

Except it didn't. Labour policy was to decolonisation

I'm studying the Mau Mau rebellion and the migrated archives at the moment. Barney is right. you are whitewashing Brittish history. that's not to say it wasn't complicated but you're you are being silly and simplistic.

Miloslaw
3 May 2026  #812

Why? Get rid of some, or even a majority, yeah, maybe. But, all? Not all are bad people doing bad things...

Agreed. But how do you work out who the good guys and the bad guys are?
And
Does that include people from the former colonies in Hong Kong? I suppose it does

No, check out the BNO visa system.

The right to self determination granted to the people occupying Las Malvinas was removed from those..

Bollox! As I posted earlier, check out the BNO visa system. And as for the people resident in The Falkland Islands, they colonised those uninhabited islands. The Argentinians have no claim at all to those lands. And well over 90% of them want to remain British.

And all of this talk concerning the Brits has what to do with the US news and Poland? Create another discussion for UK matters.

the Mau Mau rebellion

Some people say we were too soft on them and some say too hard. Kenya is still far more advanced than any of the former French or Spanish territories in that continent.

The Falkland Islands, they colonised those uninhabited islands

Yes, however colonise is a misleading word since the settlement was more haphazard. Anyway, they voted on it, and even the few Argentinians there voted to remain a U.K. overseas territory.

well over 90%

Well over 99% since only three people voted to change the stays quo, two of whom had mental health problems and one of whom had a leaning disability and ticked the wrong box.

If Argentina think they have a claim, let them go to the international courts, something they've avoided doing since they have no legal, moral or ethical claim at all.

all of this talk concerning the Brits has what to do with the US

Milo wants all Russians and Chinese to be purged from the US.

I told him that two of the most valuable companies in America were created by a Russian and a Chinese (Google and Nvidia).

That didn't impress him very much, and so I had to use examples he could understand - Storonsky (Revolut) and Gerko (XTX).

His response was that Gerko was not Russian, but Jewish. The same attack used by antisemites in Russia and in America when needing to disparage some inconvenient Jew (I still resolutely condemn the goings on in Israel, and still think Israel is a sick society).

-//-

Milo has a mixed soup instead of brains, and can't help but contradict himself every couple of paragraphs.

-//-

What's more - if we imagine some alternate universe where Russians are being kicked out of America - likely the very next group to get kicked out will be Poles.

To the average American there is ZERO difference between a Russian and a Pole. Both are Trump-voting, perpetually angry, politically incorrect, Slavic peoples that one encounters primarily in the construction trade.

If a certain type of person hates Russians, the chances are very high that they would hate Poles with similar passion.

To be honest though - the peak of hating Slavic people passed somewhere in the 1950s and '60s, so Milo is a little late to party. Right now Americans want to kick out Indians and Somalians - that's what's popular. Also Mexicans.

From another thread:

I live in America. It's Trump all day, every day over here. He's all over the place.

Do the mainstream American media report about and discuss such info?:

"Medical Experts Declare President Trump Too Unstable to Remain in Office, Cite Nuclear Weapons Risks":

peaceandhealthblog.com/2026/05/05/medical-experts-declare-president-trump-too-unstable-to-remain-in-office-cite-nuclear-weapons-risks/

"On April 30, 2026, a group of 36 leading physicians and other doctors with expertise in mental health issued a statement calling for President Donald J. Trump's immediate, lawful removal from office for medical reasons. His mental instability, coupled with his sole, unchecked authority to launch nuclear weapons, makes him a clear and present danger to the safety of all Americans, they declared."

There are both Democrats and Republicans among them, "neurologists, forensic psychiatrists, general psychiatrists, and other physicians, along with other mental health professionals, experienced in the diagnosis of cognitive disorders (...)"

And more about them:

"Among us are professionals whom the courts and criminal justice system regularly turn to for our expert opinion in these matters. We are also consulted by governments in matters related to national security and the psychological profiles of world leaders."

Sounds like serious stuff to me. ๐Ÿง

Sounds like serious stuff to me. ๐Ÿง @ Paulina

A random political blog quoting activist "experts" isn't serious evidence. Americans hear anti-Trump hysteria 24/7 already. Europeans with terminal TDS think the U.S. is one step from dictatorship while Americans are mostly just trying to pay bills and ignore foreign internet lunitics.

Paulina

A random political blog

I've seen Americans often complaining that Biden's condition was widely commented in the American media, but somehow the topic of Trump's cognitive condition and mental health rarely makes it to the headlines of the American mainstream media.

That's why I asked if the media in the US reported about this letter.

If this was happening in Poland such letter would be all over the news. ๐Ÿคจ

What is going on in the US? ๐Ÿค”

quoting activist "experts"

Those are not "experts," but real experts with different political views. The signatories of the letter are listed at the end - check them out.

isn't serious evidence.

The "evidence" is right before your eyes - often live on TV lol ๐Ÿคฆ

and ignore

Yeah, Americans like you seem to be ignoring a lot of stuff that shouldn't be ignored...๐Ÿคฆ Like your president, for example, being a pathological liar.

Russians are being kicked out of America - likely the very next group to get kicked will be Poles.

At most for economic reasons, but not political ones.

johnny reb
14 May 2026  #820

Actually the real reason is that tens of thousands of Russians have applied for political asylum in the United States.
Most by crossing the border from Mexico illegally since Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Putin wants them back.
85 % of Russian asylum claims last year were approved.
Only 900 Russians have been deported back home since 2022.

Joker

likely the very next group to get kicked out will be Poles.

Too bad there's no cure for TDS. I've noticed way more Poles around where I live too, and they aren't going anywhere. ICE is mainly after illegal border crossers and actual criminals, not normal people working jobs and minding their business. The internet acts like deportation squads are smashing through random doors every night. Cable news seriously melted some people's brains. Especially foreigners living 6,000 miles away acting like they understand America because they watched a bunch of youtube ragebait videos.

The funniest part is Americans don't sit around all day obsessing over Europe. Most people over here honestly don't care what your politicians are doing or what libtard or muzzie protest is happening this week. Meanwhile psychos like you and Paulina spend their day arguing about Trump online like it's their full-time job.

At most for economic reasons

Poles do quit well in Chicago and know a few that are loaded with $$$$ all from hard work. Not like your daily internet TDS meltdowns....

Putin wants them back.

They were probably all the intelligent ones and left the idiots back as cannon fodder.

Nope, didn't hear a thing. Sounds like more Euro leftard nonsense. Might be a better idea to worry about what's happening in your own country instead of obsessing over Trump and America 24/7.

What do you mean? That experts' statement was entered into the Congressional Record, Vol. 172, No. 76.

Might be a better idea to worry about what's happening in your own country

Unfortunately what your president says and does affects many countries, including Poland, so as long as Trump is the US president he will be discussed. Also, Trump himself clearly loves being in the centre of attention, so I'm not sure what your problem is :)

I never saw a group of morons so transfixed with TDS. You are worse than the Americans with TDS. I guess, you clowns just dont have anything exciting to do in boring ass Europe, so you can only dream about what Americans are doing..Sad!

You know what, you're right, actually, life in most of Europe is pretty boring when compared to the US - no school shootings, no mothers and nurses shot dead in the streets by federal agents, no demented, rapist paedophilic presidents... What can I say... BOOOORING! xDDD ๐Ÿฅฒ

Its funny when retards agree with one another!

Indeed, that's why watching Trump's administration is so funny! :D ๐Ÿ˜‚

most of Europe is pretty boring when compared to the US

Might be getting a little more exciting now that Poland will not be getting the 4,000 U.S. troops that they thought they were getting.
- no school shootings, no mothers and nurses shot dead in the streets...

Guns are the weapon of choice in the U.S. while knives are the weapon of choice in Europe.
The U.K.'s Joint Terrorism Analysis Center raised the national threat level from "substantial" to "severe" last week following a stabbing attack in Golders Green in North London,
Europe has not caught on yet with over 200,000 small boat arrivals with only 7500 of them being deported.
That is only 4% since the boat arrivals started.
Most are of fighting age with the name of Muhammad who not only posing a threat to young women and girls but a risk to national security.
Father Trump has been deporting by the thousands since he took office while while Starmer of the United Kingdom raised its national terror threat level to "severe," meaning an attack is considered "highly likely."
Now thats much more exciting compared to an occasional shooting amongst 330 million people.

Perhaps a discussion on the extreme rise on stabbings and rapes across Europe is in order. But lets just keep all those fantastic illegal immigration policies in tact shall we?

compared to an occasional shooting amongst 330 million people.

40.000 last year not including suicides

110 on average per day

10 in the 2 hours since you posted

If that's occasional I would hate to see your definition of frequent.

thetrace.org/2025/12/data-shooting-stats-gun-violence-america/#:~:text=Yet%20gun%20violence%20remains%20endemic,suicides%2C%20which%20have%20been%20increasing.

johnny reb

40.000 last year not including suicides

So about half of what Europe's knife attacks are.
The 16 countries in the UN's Global Study on Homicide where knives were used in more than half of homicides, the total number of knife-related homicides in 2017 was 97,180.
Even though this is older data, it shows the scale of the problem in Europe.
But lets just keep all those fantastic illegal immigration policies in tact shall we?

The voters in Europe are finally realizing that it was a "failed experiment" and want the borders tightened.
So long as the immigration system fails to deter crossings, and the system makes deportation almost impossible, we will only see more terrorists enter the U.K.
Europe is just catching on and its not that we didn't try repeatedly to tell them only to be met with stupid remarks like Trump doesn't like dark skinned people.
Trump has built a wall, put travel restrictions on 39 countries, froze visa processing for 75 countries.
The bans specifically target Muslim and African nations.
And no one knows how many thousands of bidens illegals Trump has deported already.
The Liberals failed experiment has cost lives and lots of money to the citizens.

cms neuf
15 May 2026  #834

Whatever your number relates to it is not EU knife killings

EU total homicides in 2024 were 3.953. - population 450 million
Britain 503. Population 67 million
USA. 16124. Population 330 million

Conclusion - the US has a homicide rate 5x higher than Europe.

Not to interrupt the quarterly installment of the enthralling series, "Whose The Biggest Murderous Bastards?" but what do my fellow Americans think of Trump's performance in China?

I'm thinking his performance may usher in an even bigger PF Am v Euro series: Whose the Bigger Has-Been.

AntV
15 May 2026  #836

For fellow Americans: Also, in your estimation who's in the better position, Am or China? Why?

I'm thinking we're weaker now than we have been since Carter, maybe anytime since we've emerged as a superpower.

johnny reb
15 May 2026  #837

Trump was humbled by China very badly.
He is not use to getting his ass kicked in public.
China bluntly told Trump to; "Get out of OUR back yard".
Do you really think Trump will engage China in a war over Taiwan ?

Iran stated from the get go, "you bomb us, we will collapse your economy."
So Trump won his military battle with Iran but he lost the war with Iran.
Iran has enough uranium to build a nuke and imo will have one by the end of this year
So Trump failed again by playing tuff guy and boasting that Iran will never have a nuclear bomb.
Of course that is what the bully said about N. Korea too.
He needs to take it down a notch or two.

On a happier note has anyone been paying attention of just how powerful the Polish military is getting ?
They are aiming for a 300,000 military force.
They are now becoming Europe's new super power.

15 May 2026  #838

who's in the better position, Am or China? Why?

Neither... the world is devolving into a regional warlords..... read 1984, that's where it's headed...

There is no such thing as 'multipolar' and those wanting an end for American dominance are fools who have no idea what that will look like.

Meanwhile Trumps subservience to Israel has him humbled in the Persian Gulf with no good options and major supply crises (including food) staring down the world (a lot more than oil goes through Hormuz).

China, on the other hand, has a horrible mismanaged state run economy that is collapsing and one of the worst fertility crises on the planet.

Absolute fkkking mess that was completely avoidable.

cms neuf
15 May 2026  #839

There is no such thing as 'multipolar' and those wanting an end for American dominance are..

I dunno - until Golden Cow took over I think 80 percent of Europeans were happy to leave the Americans in charge as the least hassle and most stable option.

He made everyone think again - was absolutely crazy to start talking about Canada and Greenland. And his vision that we all need to surrender our lives to American big tech isn't very appetizing.

AntV
15 May 2026  #840

Iran has enough uranium to build a nuke and imo will have one by the end..

What do you base that on?

Neither... the world is devolving into a regional warlords

But when economies and modern life are tethered to global supply chains it is much better to have a common trade currency, as well as secure routes of transport.

Meanwhile Trumps subservience to Israel has him humbled in the Persian Gulf with no good options

No argument here. The Iran mess is a game changer, IMO. It is exposing and exacerbating American vulnerabilities and limitations and how smaller weaker countries can successfully confront the bigger boys.

China, on the other hand, has a horrible mismanaged state run economy that is collapsing

Collapsing is an overstatement, but it certainly isn't invulnerable. And, this highlights just how weak Trump and the present American position is; instead of being able to capitalize on Chinese vulnerabilities and showing a strong hand to China, Trump was embarrassingly flaccid ( to add to the embarrassment he marketed his flaccidness as major victories).

Juxtapose this visit with the previous term's demands if IP and trade protections, etc. Trump not only didn't call Xi on China's disregard for those things he completely avoided them (at least according to reports). Xi explicitly mentioned the Thucydides Trap and Trump's response is Xi is my friend. Etc, etc, etc.

Absolute fkkking mess

Yes, it is. Who can clean it up? Hell, can it even be cleaned up.
