USA News and Poland - part 19

Iran is perfectly logical to be trying to build a nuclear weapon

After Ukraine, a country is stupid to _not_ want nuclear weapons and nothing Trump has done or said indicates any different.

To be clear, I hate the Iranian regime, but attacking them on Israel's orders was incredibly stupid and I haven't heard any articulation of achievable goals.

What is the endgame?

@cms neuf
Oil? Where did I say oil. Another leftist attempt to infer something never spoken. All the other cheap shot attempts havent worked either. You must be at home blowing a whistle loudly at this screen as you read things that make sense and confront your delusions.

@mafketis
Is 47 years of killing Americans not enough of a reason? Is the killing of innocents for protesting not enough of a reason? Perhaps the killing of women and children as they are used for human shields to protect military hardware would be enough?

I am sure all you leftists are getting out your Kamala election buttons for 2028. So successful before. Its like she is being unburdened by the burden of carrying the burdens of leftists who create their own burdens to be unburdened by. Just a little word salada to make you all feel more comfortable.

Take out the oil infrastructure and the whole country will collapse in short order

There

Golden Cow has also said it.

cnbc.com/2026/03/30/trump-iran-oil-middle-east-war-israel-us-kuwait-attack-.html

It is certainly Golden Cow's view that he can take any resource in the world he wants because he commands a big army

47 years of killing Americans not enough of a reason?

huh? when where?

Again, don't get me wrong, I hate the miserable ratf0kkers running Iran more than you do and would be happy if Iranians could get rid of them. But at present they can't and trying to engineer a change in those conditions isn't going to lead to anything good for anyone (apart from maybe Netanyahu).

Word is Israel has been trying to get the US to go to war wih Iran (for the benefit of Israel) for years but Trump was the first one dumb enough (and with no advisors) to actually fall for it.

it doesnt matter

It does matter cvcksucker. Expect millions more migrants heading to europe soon. I thought you were against that?

dropsitenews.com/p/iran-war-africa-fuel-prices

And that's not even getting into the mass famines, millions starving in a few months even if the war ends right now.

@mafketis
It all started when Iran took Americans hostage and Jimmy Carter was too big of a pussy to end it. Since then Iran has been killing Americans with proxy terrorists. 47 years. Time to cut the head off the snake. Fvck Israel this is about america.

@amiga500
Coxucker? Started drinking again? Europe isnt taking more migrants. Even Starmer is on his way out. Stay current with the news. If you cant afford the fuel take public transport. A little inconvenient but who cares.

It all started when Iran took Americans hostage

Iranians may think their troubles with the US started before that. They may think that the US/UK overthrow of their government and colonial exploitation of their resources marked the start of US interference in their affairs.

"Time to cut the head off the snake"...is this the new happy gulag mother*uckers?

AntV

They may think that the US/UK overthrow of their government and colonial exploitation of their resources

Barney's neo-Marxian filter may throw out terms such as "colonial exploitation" and "genocide" like a Tourette's sufferer throws out obscenities...reflexively and often; but, he makes a major point.

The CIA and the UK overthrow of the Iranian government in 1953 looms large-even though that overthrow wasn't about colonial exploitation (BP had a legit right to those mineral claims, ie they brought in the capital and know-how that developed Iran's oil sector and the US was legit concerned about SU encroachment). Regardless, to Iranians foreign powers overthrew their popular and democratically-elected government and seated an autocrat to run the country.

If a foreign power was behind the overthrow of the US gov and seated an autocrat to rule the US, Americans would begrudge the foreign power.

PAK, JR, etc-our track record of nation building since WWII is horrendous. After 10's of thousands of lives lost, $2.5 trillion spent, the beat we can say about Iraq is it is relatively but nervously somewhat peaceful- it still is factional and prone to violent eruptions, corruption is healthy, etc....not to mention it was a major boost in the arm to Iran. A complete geopolitical blunder. It's like we paid a trillion dollars for a Yugo.

Barney

@AntV
Try paleo marxist :) though I am not a Marxist as such. Colonial exploitation is an accurate description of the historical events. An Exploitative contract would be an accurate description of your scenario, same with Cuba when the US gangsters were removed and the Government tried to take control of their own resources.

The use of genocide as a description of what Israel is doing is accurate as confirmed by several bodies including the UN. The ICJ, in an interim ruling, stated that the accusation of genocide by Israel was plausible and ordered Israel to take immediate steps to provide basic services including ensuring humanitarian aid ie food and water were supplied. Israel has ignored this.

The use of those phrases is accurate and focused. When the US and Israel openly boast about real estate deals once the Semitic people of Gaza have been removed and the daily attacks on the Semitic but Christian people of Palestine and Lebanon stop then the genocide can be consigned to history like the German genocide. The question will be whether we feel worse than our grandparents for watching a live streamed genocide. Our grandparents at least could plausibly say they didn't know.

Ant, you are the kind of guy who has very definite opinions but also the ability to see what others are saying and that's a good thing :)

He's the best guy.

He restores my faith in America, and reminds me of all the things which make America a great country.

He deserves all the "attaboys" he has coming his way.

Is 47 years of killing Americans not enough of a reason?

Stop being an idiot.

Where did they kill Americans?

In Lebanon? In Iraq?

What were you doing there, and what were they reacting against?

Do you know?

-//-

Iran never travelled across half the world, to kill Americans merely for the fun of it.

But you parachuted into the Middle East, and made yourself arbiter between Sunni and Shia, Moslem and Jew, autocrat and separatist.

Iran has all the rights - it's you, who is lost, several thousand miles from home, absolutely clueless, wrecking the place.

Try paleo marxist

Not only a marxist, but a marxist dinosaur. 😁

Ant, you are the kind of guy who has very definite opinions but also the ability..

And you are one of the best posters on this board. You make cogent, albeit oftentimes wrong 😄, arguments, and you don't go into the gutter. What's not to like? I'm glad you are here.

And, I completely and totally agree that what is happening in Gaza is genocide. Let's hope it doesn't extend to Lebanon.

But you parachuted into the Middle East

Someone had to push you Russians away. Plus, all that tasty oil...who can pass up dipping their straw into that stuff and gulping it up?!

He's the best guy.

I am a remarkable human being....but you are even better! So there!

mafketis

parachuted into the Middle East, and made yourself arbiter

I mostly agree... I've never heard a convincing explanation of what vital US interests are represented by Israel in the Middle East. I don't hate Israel by any means and have little tolerance for the loser Palestinians (who have made victimization and defeat their entire identity). But other Arab countries mostly loathe them as well and Israel doesn't really need US help.

Meanwhile, every US attempt to 'fix' the middle east in part or whole just ends up as a disaster.

(and it's not like russian engagement in the region has any more to recommend it).

Trump's excellent Iran adventure has turned into a fokcing goat rodeo and no signs of it getting any better any time soon.

Iran has been killing Americans with proxy terrorists.

It's such a lame justification when Saudi Arabia actually went into your land and killed your people 9-11 terrorist attacks. Iran is a saint compared to Saudi and the country with the cube people.

US policy in the middle east is dysfunctional and makes no ethical or logical sense and never has... simple as.

Trump's foreign policy is a disorded mish-mash of his reacting to personalities and chaotic mood swings and loyalty to a small handful of extremely pro-Israel donors.

I love this - and it's true. In Poland we are seeing more and more Americans, same in France (Emily in Paris helps) and in London

Turns out 40 percent of American women want to emigrate

And who can blame them for wanting to get away from their miserable complaining, right wing menfolk

theguardian.com/us-news/2026/may/19/us-women-migrating-europe-politics

Brave move for these chicks given the risk of being stabbed and abducted by muslims

US policy in the middle east is dysfunctional

We all get used to it. However with Iran that just went too far.
Nobody support it. Credibility and position of the US reached the new low.
Trump is proactively harming interests of the US.
There is nobody to stop it because the Congress is in the clutches of the Zionist lobby.

That is the reson it annoys me.
I understand if something it is in the interest of a country, some policy or some action. I may think it is no the best move or in the case of Russia where their interests clash with ours. Precedence takes Poland's interest.
Yet, if something make sense and is in the interest of a given country, it doesn't get on my nerves.
Here the war in Iran is not in the interest of the USA. Quite the opposite it harms it interests and it influence on the planet is shrinking. Its all is about to reach the next level of escalation.
Where the US will F whole world including Poland, due to economical fallout of the war.
No wonder I hate that pedophile.

It's so easy to manipulate low-IQ 0range supporters. It can be seen in the "right-wing" media, which feature article titles like:

Trump (targets | torches | attacks | humiliates | destroys)

Once a MAGAT moron scrolls through the page, they get excited that they are "winning." Their fathers and grandfathers did the same. At least Poles are not so stupid; in the socialist era, they knew they were being propagandized and ignored it. American morons cheer that.

As for scandals...

"Trump's deal with the IRS would be a scandal even in the "Third World" [OPINION]":

Indeed, when I heard about this my first thought was that the US is turning into a banana republic/oligarchy...

Is there a bottom to this decline of democracy in the US? At this point I'm wondering if Trump will somehow rig midterms in November... Earlier I didn't think that would be possible, but I'm not sure of anything anymore when it comes to the US these days... o_O' Damn...

Turns out 40 percent of American women want to emigrate

Yeah, can't blame them.

Those are the high entitlement wide bottom Karen's that that can't find a checkbook to marry here in America for some odd reason.
They will be in for a shock when they emigrate to countries where women know how to actually cook and clean.

You MAGAts are so stupid and primitive. 🤮 No wonder so many women in your country want to move somewhere else. 🤦

that can't find a checkbook to marry here in America for some odd reason.

You're wrong - both unmarried and married younger women would like to leave the US:

news.gallup.com/poll/697382/record-numbers-younger-women-leave.aspx

"Between 2024 and 2025, at least two in five younger women - 41% of those who are married and 45% of those who are single - said they would like to move abroad permanently if given the chance."

One of the reasons cited is loss of "confidence in institutions such as the government, judicial system, military and integrity of elections."

Would you like to stay in a country full of double-browns? It's a good thing that the better half of the US still kept their sanity.

41% of those who are married and 45% of those who are single - said they would like to move abroad permanently if given the chance.

Perhaps the world will witness a new phenomenon - American mail order brides. 0_0

Ordinary Americans don't but your "elected" leaders do - Golden Cow, Vance, Hegseth and all the other crooks pedos and addicts are always telling us how to run our own affairs and trying to interfere in our elections (usually being the kiss of death for any European politician to be seen as close to Trump)

Americans don't spend all day crying about Europe online.

Yeah, you have your president for that - rage-posting at night like some maniac 😂

We're too busy working and paying bills.

But you're not too busy to obsess over what people write on a forum about Poland?? 😂🤦

Get a life you stupid Karen!

Bro.

Maybe slow down, be more careful?

America - for as much as I love it - is in a really bad place right now. Can you not see this?

I understand it may be irritating to listen to Europeans moan about this, but it doesn't cancel out the reality of the situation. The country is in a super difficult position, with no obvious "outs" or "exits".

America needs to look deep, to then understand what it should do next.

Right now - you are losing all your friends, burning all possible bridges, and then doubling down and behaving as an absolute maniac.

The answer must be - increased humility, and a demonstrated ability to listen.
