The Russian armyt needs more cannon fodder

Does this mean that they will now send newborns to attack?

pawian

newborns to attack

No, it means that imperial Russia is planning to start more wars in the future.

Why do you think that?

Because someone has yet to post a new picture of the Earth from space. People have been waiting for several decades now, and still nothing (just a composite/CGI generated images published by "Nasa").

Why not?

Because no human will ever fly more than about 100 miles into "space" unless they want to collide with the firmament.

GefreiterKania

unless they want to collide with the firmament

You must have collided with the firmament when you were a kid.

no human will ever fly more than about 100 miles into "space"

Just out of curiosity, how far from Earth do you think is geostationary orbit? Or maybe it doesn't exist? International Space Station? The Moon?

Because someone has yet to post a new picture of the Earth from space

That's simply untrue. There are plenty of excellent photographs taken from the ISS.

collide with the firmament.

What 'firmament'?

If such a thing existed, it would be a boon for the world's various space agencies since there would be far less effort and expense needed by them.

What is causing you to have such crazy opinions? Are you following conspiracy sites?

What is causing you to have such crazy opinions?

In this age, biblical facts are crazy opinions. The Bible and all the human generations up to 1600+, including the ones who built the pyramids and other "alien-like" structures, rightfully claimed the Earth is flat. The Bible claims the same. As of today, there is no proof that the Earth is spherical. The following are the official pictures of the Earth released by NASA in the last decades. If you don't notice the joke is on us, you may be blind.

biblical facts

Why "facts"?

no proof that the Earth is spherical

It isn't "spherical" it is an irregularly shaped ellipsoid.

Tlum
7 Sep 2024  #579

These are the official full pictures of the moon: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_first_images_of_Earth_from_space

All are perfect round shapes, confirming the fakery. Where do you see irregularly-shaped ellipsoid? Not on these "official pictures" for sure - but can you give me a link to what you see?

1972 official picture: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/8c/AS17-148-22725_%2821692959852%29.jpg (1972)

The difference between these fakes and the bible is that the bible has never changed. Same story. But you must start with the Truth; if you start with a lie, you will be forced to create new lies until you cannot take it any more.

jon357
7 Sep 2024  #580

the bible is that the bible has never changed

It has, even frequently, and different religious denominations even today have differences, including whole books present or absent.

fakery

Why do you think it's 'fakery'? What would be the point of that?

Tlum
7 Sep 2024  #581

different religious denominations

Nothing fundamental has changed for centuries.

Why do you think it's 'fakery'?

I warned that blind people should not discuss it. You don't see the fakery, it's fine with me. Just the last hint - spot the continents on these pictures; some years there are there, some they disappear.

The point - to confuse people, to distance them from God, to give people false assurance that they are just a part of "cosmos" and that it is okay to live in sin. Satan is the father of lies and he will do anything to destroy people, one by one. Lies are his tools. Enough said for today.

jon357
7 Sep 2024  #582

Nothing fundamental has changed for centuries.

It has. There have been different denominations accepting different canonical compositions every few years.

some years there are there, some they disappear

No, they don't "disappear".

give people false assurance that they are just a part of "cosmos" and that it is okay to live in sin

That is stretching logic somewhat.

BTW, the Roman Catholic Church and all major religious denominations accept that the earth is roughly round and that it revolves around the sun which is a star in the Milky Way. There's no controversy or dispute.

Tlum

different denominations accepting different canonical compositions every few years.

The only true church is the Apostolic church. I don't know and don't care what other denominations do because they are not what Christ wanted them to be.

No, they don't "disappear".

I cannot discuss the facts clearly seen on images with a blind person.

all major religious denominations accept that the earth

Whatever can be accepted comes from the bible only which clearly states numerous times that the Earth stands on a foundation under a firmament. It's (still) easy to find this information, but rogue people in power work on erasing them from history.

jon357
7 Sep 2024  #584

Apostolic

All churches are Apostolic however there are several denominations, mostly black-led, that use that as a name.

the bible only which clearly states numerous times that the Earth stands on a foundation under a firmament

It also says that donkeys can talk, that serpents can tempt people and that whales can swallow people and subsequently deliver them so where alive and well.

GefreiterKania

All are perfect round shapes

Who said 'perfect'? Earth is an oblate spheroid. There's a bulge at the equator, caused by centrifugal force, of about 0.3%; the diameter from North to South Poles is about 7900 miles whilst the diameter at the equator is 7926 miles. That's 26 miles difference--rather difficult to notice from space, isn't it?

Here...

... so, yes - the shape of the Earth is not perfect. It's only around 99.68% spherical, which is still perfectly round to the naked eye when seen from space.

You avoided my questions about geostationary orbit, ISS and the Moon. It doesn't surprise me as a moment of thought about the GPS system, orbital spaceflight trajectories (highschool physics) or lunar eclipses (primary school physics) would destroy your lunatic ravings.

stretching logic somewhat

What an understatement! The guy is obviously trolling. A primary school 8th grader (or a smart 7th grader) would destroy his "theories" is 5 minutes.

All churches are Apostolic

Certainly not! No protestant denomination (with the possible exception of Anglicans) has valid apostolic succession.

jon357
8 Sep 2024  #586

Who said 'perfect'? Earth is an oblate spheroid.

And apparently the planet's shape is constantly changing.

No protestant denomination

The Methodists in the UK do (this is fairly recent) plus there's something in America called the "Union of Scranton" whose succession is recognised by the RCC.

About Anglicans it's complicated. The Vatican claimed last century (on the basis of inaccurate information) that their orders were invalid however to clear up confusion, the C of E had an Old Catholic Bishop from the Netherlands (whose orders are recognised) as a co-consecrator at all episcopal consecrations.

GefreiterKania
8 Sep 2024  #587

And apparently the planet's shape is constantly changing.

...and there's gravity at play as well (slight bulge towards the Moon for example), so if someone says that "the Earth is round" they are not 100% correct but 99.68% is good enough for me. :)

Union of Scranton is not protestant - they are Old Catholic (just like Union of Utrecht), so obviously they have apostolic succession. There has been some controversy about the Anglicans in the past but they are now in the Union of Utrecht, so I see no problem here. Methodists? That's something new for me but their roots are in the Anglican church, I suppose.

jon357

so if someone says that "the Earth is round" they are not 100% correct but 99.68% is good enough for me. :)

The same

Union of Scranton is not protestant

I was surprised to see that there are evangelical protestants among them. The whole thing is a bit too close to the 'episcopi vagantes' subculture for my taste. They used to be a bit of a nuisance sometimes in England and I notice there are some in PL (a couple known to me) at the moment.

they are now in the Union of Utrecht

In communion with rather than part of as far as I know.

Methodists? Their numbers have plummeted and the C of E is in decline so it was a matter of numbers.

Did you read in the Bible where that was prophesized to happen in the end days ?
You may be surprised but devote Christians aren't.

why concern yourself with the end of days? For each of us there is an individual end of days.. It is the way things are.

johnny reb
8 Sep 2024  #591

I simply stated what the Bible prophesized over 2000 years ago and it was simply prophesy being fulfilled
why concern yourself with the end of days?

My goal in life is to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven
In the last days Satan is going to do everything he can to trick us into believing there is no God, No eternity, and that Jesus Christ was just a man even though He died and arose again.
And by reading some of the Lost Souls posts here on the P.F. shows just how powerful Satan is in succeeding.
Eternity is for a very long time my friends.
That's why I concern myself with the end days......😇

jon357

Methodism declining in number through demographics and geography?

why concern yourself with the end of days?

Exactly. And we have no clue at all how the universe will end except that it's billlions of years away.

why concern yourself with the end of days?

Remember that Poor Jimmy's end of days is a lot closer than that of other posters. His health only gets worse (although ill health is the only thing that's keeping him out of prison right now), so he's looking back on a life filled with raping teenagers and punching nuns and dreading meeting his maker. Unfortunately for everyone, he's far too much of a vile c*nt to actually change and be anything other than a vile c*nt, as his posts here prove.

Im not the person that constantly preaches on PF. You are the one telling ppl they are going too hell and judging them in the name of Jesus. I never have.

Lets take a poll!

Who is the self proclaimed preacher of PF?
