A refreshing honesty.

Well, what can I say... I am no longer a homophobe.

Arriving from Russia to America for college, I was a militant homophobe. I would expound upon my homo hating ideology pretty much daily, to my three other suite mates. In the evening over a game on the PlayStation. On the way back from the bar. In the morning, during breakfast in the cafeteria.

Then one fine day, during breakfast, I went on an especially savage homophobic rant (I had suffered through two gay guys making out in the same elevator as I was riding in, the previous evening). That's when my suite mate of a few months, finally spoke up, and asked me: "Bobko, did you know I was gay?"

I was so embarrassed, I wanted to fall through the ground.

Here's this guy, that I love and respect, and he's been sitting there quietly for months listening to me curse his kind.

After that day, I toned things down by quite a bit. I still hate public displays of affection, and I wish they wouldn't flaunt their "liberties" during the annual parade, but otherwise I don't care anymore.

It was enough for me to meet one decent, intelligent, and very understanding towards my irrational hatred man - to abandon my ways.

Since then, I've discovered gay cousins, gay coworkers, gay investors, and so on. I still find reason to hate many of them, but for the same reasons as I might hate any other civilian.

Neither am I - if you take the meaning of "homophobe" literally. No, they don't scare me. They disgust me. I don't have a pride flag or parades and I am fine. They could return the favor and keep their LGBT crap private.

Actually, I do. It's the flag of the United States. Nothing comes even close to it. The best national anthem is yours. But I am digressing...

The gay problem I see is not personal but societal. In the last decade, the number of HS kids, mostly girls, who identify as LGBTs has gone through the roof. We often call it exponential.

A social contagion with no known endpoint. This lowers the marriage and pregnancy rates among the natives. The result: Turning once a predominantly white hetero society into Sodom and Gomorah pile of sick azholes. All LGBTs are mentally ill and abnormal.

I like Putin for many reasons. One of them is banning LGBT sickos from Russia's schools and other forms of propaganda.

We just don't know if gayness is 100% a birth defect or if it can be acquired. Hence my question how many fakots is too many to assure the tribe's viability is valid but still remains unanswered.

The same applies to abortions. How many abortion can we allow and be sustainable?

Today, even asking these questions is "hate speech".

True, it's nothing that has ever crossed my mind.But I did wonder how I would react if either of my kids turned out to be gay,they are both completely hetero.
But I would have loved them just as much, after all, they are my children, I would just have to make some adjustments to my personal thinking.

Sex and sexuality is not the be all and end all.

Well, after fantasy lottery wins, fantasy shareholding and fantasy ownership of entire mutual funds and tracker funds, it can't really be a surprise that Jimmy Poorhouse is now posting about fantasy fishing. Nice of him to also post about his fantasy beach body. Pity he's forgotten posting about what he remembers seeing in the early 1960s and there's no way that the gentleman in the photo is 65 years old. Maybe he'll be luckier tomorrow with his fantasies lining up with his previous posts.

Tbh, the 30 lb salmon offended me much more than the Learjets, yachts, and vacation properties.

Catching a 30 lb salmon is no small feat. If JR could actually confirm he did land such a catch, I would begrudgingly have to adjust my attitude towards him to a more respectful one.

One of the things I love is Jimmy Poorhouse being dumb enough to believe for even a single second that anybody will believe that this gentleman was born in the 1950s. Jimmy Poorhouse claims that he remembers what he saw in the early 1960s but he also says this is him. LOL! Hoot!

I've read one analysis (blanking on name) who claimed it began as an intra-party rift (one side of which was a lot more heavily Jewish) and the forced migrations were largely collateral damage.... a shameful period and maybe a bit misunderstood.... Of course not.... I support Israel over 'palestinians' (a large fake ethnicity that exists primarily to express anti-semitism) I have a lot of criticism of Israel but push come to shove I pick them over 'palestinians' every time.

Why would I want anything from the rotten soviet union to work? It's very good they failed at turning arabs into fighting forces....

Why? I didn't wish to create a new thread. The post was intended for Pol-Shorpy.

They were very good in 1973 to the point that Israel were preparing to use nuclear weapons. When the US realised what they were doing organised a huge and unprecedented arms transfer to Israel and used all their resources to save Israel. So much for Arabs being sub human.

Nobody said they were subhuman. However, the military feats of combined Arab armies against the tiny Israel have always been rather unimpressive.

The entire tone clearly paints that picture. By all means support Israel and its expansionist policies and dual legal systems, that would be between you and your god, but don't demean their opponents. Israel is surrounded by America's whroes (sic), its not isolated in any way.

What's the story with Pol-Shorpy?

The thread has been closed since yesterday and for some reason a new thread with the post about March '68 was created.

What gives? You posted the post about March '68 thread in the Pol-Shorply thread. Why did you post this, only you may know.

This way Pol-Shorpy, with all the nice photos, is doomed to oblivion in the abyss of PF archives. Why don't you simply change the title of Pol-Shorpy and keep it open?

I also usually put a lot of effort and time into my posts on this forum, especially considering that English isn't my native language. That's why mods/Admin messing them up pisses me off and their attitude towards posters discourages me from writing here.

Not quite sure how that would work. If the Admin doesn't like the title, then why not just change the title and leave the thread open with the old content?

Oh, well... I suppose I'll stick to exchanging pleasantries with Novi from now on. Apparently there's no point putting too much effort in creating content here. :-/
