But not as we know it Jim.

@Lyzko

Survival of the fittest and machiavellian philosophy has little to do with admitting guilt. People **** up all the time and admit it. In fact, machiavelli would argue admitting guilt can be a strategic decision. What matters is how you handle it and whether you mean it. People go on tv apologizing for some racist **** they said but I don't think anyone buys it and I know those people don't feel guilt. You think Trump felt guilty when he said some sb1t avout grabbing pussy? No he felt more mad some douche was recording him and released it after a decade. People aren't that much different from one another. I'm sure you and ****** up plenty of times as well.

The point is lyzko is I likely see things a bit differently than you. I grew up in a sh1tty ghetto during a time wjen the murder rate was even worse than it is today. Both my parents were dead broke working typical blue collar jobs working 50.60 hour weeks each. I've seen a lot of sh1t in my young years and I've realized that you're either the predator or the prey. There is little room in between - especially in America.

Actually the Russians describe various men's personality types especially as it relates to life and business using animals. There's wolves, elephants, sheep, giraffes, etc. I.e. an elephant controls a big green space and has the freedom to throw his weight around, a giraffe finds food (money) where others wouldn't ever think of it, a wolf hunts for opportunities and exploits them, usually with friends, etc etc.

Do you think there is a difference between Trump grabbing some pussy and some maghreb lowlife grabbing some pussy in Cologne on Silvester?

Dirk diggler
9 Aug 2018  #454

Yes, Trump only talked about how he grabbed pussy which was in a consensual situation. Plus the whole grab em by the pussy obviously wasn't literal but idiomatic meaning once you have control of a woman's pussy amd you cam satisfy her properly you can do whatever. Actually iknthe convo he talked about how he took some chick furniture shopping and she rejected him and how he 'tried like a b1tch' to get her. When migrants grab pussy, as in the new yesrs attacks or the thousands of rapes they caused in Sweden, it is not consensual. The migrants don't try to woo a girl - they just go straight for groping and raping.

What you ignore is that there is a certain general standard for human behavior, culture notwithstanding.
People prior to the Reagan Counter Revolution understood that without basic, bare minimum knee-jerk civility, the human race is merely the animal kingdom, with four-legged creatures walking upright on two legs.

Conflicts, once handled with words, now prefer fists and knives. Every post-Gen X baby imagines themselves a perfect being and rarely do people realize they MUST share both the misery as well as the joy in human relationships. Life isn't a free pleasure ride, but a joint mission in which everyone is obligated to take part actively!!

That is the part I need explained to me.
Doesn't Islam preach that you are not to look at a naked woman that is not your wife or for that matter even their underwear ?

Yet these migrant animals go around ripping off little girls underwear and hosing them down.
Where is Allah when this s*** is going on ?

Kuffar, non Muslim women don't count. They're allowed to rape them, even take them as slaves according to one passage in the Koran.

Where is Allah when this s*** is going on ?

Its nit allah that needs to shut it down, it's the freaken Europeans who are too limp wristed to do anything about it. They need to stop the ones currently doing it and stop more from coming in that'll do the same. But countries like the uk, sweden, germany, etc are too much of a bunch of punk ass b1tches to do anything about it. The rotterham scandal proved that the British knew about dozens of Pakistani migrants who had groomed and raped a thousand children over the course of a decade. But they did NOTHING for fear of being called racist. It's pathetic and its this cuck attitude that pervades so many western European societies. That is why Trump said Europe is destroying it's identity. It's literally self inflicted harm. Thankfully Poland Czechy Slovakia Hungary are not among those countries and now even Austria Italy etc is finally starting to be assertive and putting their own natives needs first and not third wprld migrants who contribute nothing but problems. You invite iraq, you get an iraq, you invite Somalis, you get a Somalia. It's that sime

Life isn't a free pleasure ride, but a joint mission in which everyone is obligated to take part actively!!

Well then why did no one give a sh1t when we came to this country and had to live in an infested apartment, not even our slumlord cared? Who was there to pay for unaffordable medical bills? Who was there to provide food for kids who were starving in my neighborhood..NO ONE. That's why **** em. No strangers came and helped me so why I should i help people I don't even know? I have enough to worry about with my family and friends and don't habe the time or patience to help people I don't know, many of whom are undeserving of help.anyway.

Conflicts, once handled with words, now prefer fists and knives.

Not true. Conflicts have been resolved violently since before humans eben knew how to write and it remains that way today. If diplomacy fails, which it often does, conflict is the next step.

people realize they MUST share both the misery

I don't have to share in anyone's misery and nor does anyone else if they don't want to. If it were up to me I wouldn't even pay any taxes because I'm sick of providing for generations of benefits leeches. I'd much rather donate the money out of my own free will to people.who actually need it and not abuse handouts or decide to live their whole lives off them. And I'm pretty sure.most people feel the same way too.

No strangers came and helped me so why I should i help people I don't even know?

To a point I have the same feeling instilled in me Dirk.
I fought and struggled to get where I am with NO Help from anyone.
I went without as did many of my friends.
I walked a mile to and from school in frigid weather, had no lunch money for a hot lunch at school, (I will never eat another baloney sandwich in my life), one pair of pants because I had to buy my own cloths, I had to pay to have my wisdom teeth taken out, I was doctored at home while suffering needlessly because there was no money to go to the doctors office or hospital, many nights I went to bed hungry, went to two movies before I was twelve years old, never ate in a restaurant until I was fifteen years old, was forced to work and worked 60 hours a week while going to high school, (no time to play any sports), paid for my own car, car insurance, gas to put in it, and paid cash to got to college.

There was no free credit card to buy my food, no medicate to pay my health insurance, no low cost housing, no welfare programs.
So yeah, I can't help carry that bitterness to see the kids today get rides to school in Mom's new SUV, have $10,000 braces because they have a crooked tooth, sitting in a doctors office because they have a runny nose, designer cloths $$$ of the month, $800 cell phones with a $100 monthly fee, eating out at restaurants every night, going to heavy metal concerts that cost $100 for a ticket, having their own cars paid for by Dad including insurance and gas, and their college paid for with a student loan that they have no intentions of ever paying off.

I understand exactly why you carry this bitter attitude Dirk.
There are no poor people in the U.S.A. and that is why when I do give charity it is to the skinny little children in Jamaica who get one good meal a week, many have worms, they are bare foot, many have lice, they are often beaten by their Mothers (no father to be found), they live in shacks with dirt floors, termite eaten walls with rats living under it.

Consequently the Lord has instructed me to help the ones that can not help themselves.
All the rest of them I have no pity for.

I fought and struggled to get where I am with NO Help from anyone.

As I have grown older I have learned that I want and do help those who are truly struggling in life, sadly those in real need are far away and we need to reach out to help them, bit like you say about Jamaican kids.

Those who can afford four thousand dollar boat trips to spain are another story, also the fit and able local citizens who find it easier to do nothing and live on generous welfare.

johnny reb

Those who can afford four thousand dollar boat trips to spain are another story,

Problem is dol that most of them can't afford it and put such a vanity trip on their credit card so they can keep up with the Joneses.

I can honestly say that if/when I ever needed help I would turn to my church family before I would ever beg from my government.

Guess it boils down to all on how you were brought up.
Dirk and I were brought up old school which was, "God helps those who help themselves."
Good choices god things happen, bad choices bad things happen.
If there is someone that gets in a life threatening bind through no fault of their own then I may find some sympathy but those people are few and far between,

Dirk diggler
10 Aug 2018  #462

Yeah exactly those are the types of people id have no problem my tax dollars going to. Hell id even put in more when I have a good month and landed some lucrative project or closed a big deal. The kids who are poor in America are only poor because they have stupid parents. The government gives them EBT and they go sell it for cash 50 cents on the dollar so they cam buy some hard drugs. There's tons of ads on Craigslist of people doing this. Same with diabetic strips that are covered by Medicaid. Most of the kids will go into that same cycle - living off benefits, live in the ghetto and sell drugs or rob to make some extra money. But a few kids a small minority will see there's little future in that and those are the ones that should be helped, not their peers who don't care. You go to the west side right now and I guaruntee you'll see a bunch of preteens even as young as 10 11 years old riding on bikes with walkie talkies alerting the trap house about who's driving in and out. Well they wouldn't be there if their parents taught them better. But a few even with bad parents and a bad environment don't do that kind of stuff and actually want a future and from what I've seen these are the people who are the most successful later in life.

I don't mind helping people I really dont. I'll hold the door for some old lady, throw a 5 in disabled vets cup or tip even 50% of the bill if a waiter/waitress really goes above and beyond bc I know it's a ****** job I did it for almost 4 years when I was in hs and college. But for something like 90%+ of tax revenue to pay for people on disability because they claim their depression or anxiety or back is so bad they can't work? Nah I can't agree with that.

This is the USA. If someone really wants to get out of poverty there's a million different ways they can do it. All it takes is some ambition, work and perseverance and sadly that's too much for tens of millions of people. I don't mind helping someone, hell I use to tutor and teach chess in a ghetto ass school. But out of a class of 30 only maybe 1 to 2 kids would actually be interested and already at a young age 10, 12 whatever they knew their situation sucked and they want better. So screw the 28 kids goofing off and making fun of my white skin, I'll devote all my time to helping the 2 that actually want it.

Dirk, I must remind you that solidarity with one's fellow citizens is far from as alien and distasteful a concept as you think! When Americans gradually began to lose their sense of elitism and tribalism, compared with our Scandinavian, French, and German "neighbors", this country, not to mention this planet, has started to go to hell in a handbasket.....by now practically at warp speed!!

Any brilliant solutions, Mr. Spock?

There is another irony on the US dollar. It's "Federal Reserve".

Scandinavian, French, and German "neighbors

Yeah those countries were so altruistic for their fellow man and look what it got them - terrorism, thousands upon thousands of rapes, hundreds of thousands of people who will live off benefits as will their kids, no go zones patrolled by sharia enforcers trying to implement Islamic law in Europe as they detest our laws and customs, tons of violence, barely any assimilation and tens of billions spent on helping them, being in solidarity - and this is how those Europeans are paid back for helping their fellow man...

Well meanie Poland decided not to be in solidarity with those countries - that same word was used by the eurocrats, Merkel, etc when describing Polands refusal to take in middle East and african migrants. And thanks to our 'lack of solidarity' we haven't had a single Islamic terror attack, there's no thousands upon thousands of new rape victims, no no go zones, no years of state of emergency....

And now people in those same countries and others who were affected are applauding Poland, Hungary, etc. For their lack of solidarity in that regard and chosing the same route.

It's fine to help others. But not at the detriment of yourself and your loved ones. That's just being foolish. This world is extremely competitive, very violent and ruthless and if you play Mr nice guy you're going to become a victim very quickly - just as the Germans, swedes, etc are now finally realizing

Rich Mazur
11 Aug 2018  #470

It's fine to help others. But not at the detriment of yourself and your loved ones.

That's exactly what I told my younger and very liberal daughter when she was doing U of I. I told her that to give she has to have it. Which, practically, means more time or money than we need for us. Somehow, that moment never comes.

Helping those whose live close to us makes sense. Helping the starving in Africa does not. If they are starving it's because they are either not smart enough or they abused and destroyed their environment and made the place uninhabitable. Or it's God's plan. Taking resources from here to a barren hellhole in Africa is against Darwin, too, and puts the donors on the hook forever. And when the donors stop, they are mean-spirited bad people.

johnny reb
11 Aug 2018  #471

Helping the starving in Africa does not.

Why when the U.S.A., China and half dozen other countries are raping their resources in a mega manner.

Lyzko
11 Aug 2018  #472

@Dirk, you do raise a substantial point. All I meant in my original post was that Christians in America have long since lost the meaning of what it means to be a true Christian. The Jews as well. Once read a quote by a well-known American rabbi (whom no one's ever heard ofLOL) that being a "mensch", means to be one even when it hurts.

Fear of pain and seeking solely pleasure really amounts to nothing more than a fear of life.

Rich Mazur
11 Aug 2018  #473

Did you use "raping" in the same sense as some call employing third-world women in clothing factories "exploitation"? "Rape" goes with violence and is against the victim's wishes. When we buy what they want to sell, there is no violence. I hope. The problem is what's next after they have nothing to sell anymore.

Dirk diggler
11 Aug 2018  #474

All I meant in my original post was that Christians in America have long since lost the meaning of what it means to be a true Christian.

I agree wholeheartedly. Unfortunately though, it is extremely difficult to be a 'true Christian' - especially in the USA. Most Christians choose a middle ground where they are good to people in their immediate circle, maybe do a few kind acts and donate to some charities, but they're keenly aware of the environment around them and do their best not to allow people to take advantage of their good will.

Lyzko
11 Aug 2018  #475

And precisely when the going gets tough, it's the obligation of our churches to drive home the point that while freedom is never free, true "enjoyment" of life also comes fat too often at a hefty price!

Admitting guilt, on occasion weakness, is neither feminine nor masculine from an anthropological/scientific perspective, it's broadly HUMAN!!

It's also smart if done correctly and it's unavoidable because everybody knows. Saying "I screwed up" at a company meeting ends all recriminations. I know because I did it, except that I didn't say "screwed".
