For centuries even prior to the Post-War Era, ethnic, native-born Germans did the hard labor and routine manual jobs/trades which today are filled

The Germans I know still feel, "Germans construct cars, manage factories and do white-collar work. Non-whites do the other stuff!"

As I say, this mentality, in Germany as well in other highly industrialized nations, will simply have to change.

A German home owner for instance, would think himself rather foolish nowadays hiring a local German, when a Pole or Russian

I don't trust this study at all...the answers doesn't add up. This comes from the infamous Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung which is very far left and anything but neutral. You can imagine how much the wording of a question influences the answer...and here was alot of "framing" going on.

First what is Germany? In eastern Germany ypu have german electricians, plumbers ect. Nobody here would allow a foreigners in your house to repair stuff.

I know this debating technique: can't defend a position, move quickly to the other and, typically, extreme end.
