Believe me, I feel your pain. You may already know that I was born in Poland in 1942. By now even I have had it with that Nazi this and Nazi that. Or Russia, Katyn, and that evil Putin.

It is extremely silly, Iwonka, to see the problem of immigration in the light you see it.

First, it is your anti-German sentiment that makes you say you are glad that ISIS members from Africa in Germany make Germany weaker. Every country, Germany included, has the right to defend itself against extremists and dangerous elements like ISIS people by not letting them on their territory.

Second, the number of immigrants that suddenly goes up and eventually exceeds a certain level, starts to become embarrassing (to say the least) for the host country, causing serious social and economic problems there. The level of immigrant people in the population which used to be thought of as safe in Western Europe long before the recent immigration crisis began was typically set at 5% in France, the UK, the Netherlands and elsewhere. But not only the level itself is what matters most, perhaps the pace at which the number of immigrants is rising is even more important.

And third - as Weimarer pointed out to you - it is unfair to reproach people from Germany for calling to get rid of immigrants, while at the same time Poland has been firmly saying "no" to any attempts by the European Commission to impose 'quotas' of immigrants on us.

I don't have anti-German sentiment I just don't like posts sent by Weimarer.It is not liberal ,open European approach but dangerous and unpleasant one. I have nothing against emigration but controlled one and genuine one. Yes , Poland does not show itself in the best light in this problem. Is quota so great idea? I mean open borders let anyone to Spain, Italy and then apply quotas? I don't think so. There is limit of people that any country can supply with accommodation, health checks but also some assimilation schools, work....I think that we should verify it as self-preservation and allow people who are war victims not people who look for better life as there are probably millions people like that. It is not nastiness just common sense - Europe is not so big and there are limits.

Poland is an oasis of sanity in the insane Europe.

Europe does not need any immigration. Even free movement within should be limited. Nobody sane would suggest that 20 million Poles moving to Germany would be good for Poland or Germany.

War refugees should be limited to women only and their kids 14 and under. Their stay should be strictly temporary with no prospect of ever becoming citizens.

Men cause and conduct wars. Let them live and die with their own creations. The more of them die the better until the war runs out of people to continue on.
