Yes, most Germany have no interest in visiting Poland.

Why should i go there? What can i see there that excites me? I look good, so i dont need cheap ****** or cheap drinks.

Poland has no Andes mountains.

Poland has no Maccu Piccu.

Poland has no Ayers Rock

Polnd has no lemurs.

Here is a list of countries i visited: Egypt, Switzerland, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Mauritius, Seychelles, Cuba, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Australia, Bulgaria

There is nothing in Poland that i see as worth wasting time and money to visit.

I have great interest in Poland...Silesia, East Prussia etc..are part of our history...Breslau, Danzig...not to mention a great holiday destination when you look for great nature, culture and old towns...the people are similiar to us, we both like sausages! :)

I prefer to travel in lands which have been and still are important to us, which belong to our common european heritage....people have died fighting for these lands..on all sides.

I don't need lemurs or Maccu Piccu, that is other peoples heritage, far away lands...not ours!

My grandmother is from Silesia. She loves her old home but would never go there. She say its like digging out the carcass of a dead loved one.

Well, if you don't care Ali and Aisha won't either...so why bother at all.

I completely understand and fully sympathise with her, I feel the same about visiting the lands , homes of my parents and grandparents in the east.

Living in Silesia I am reminded almost daily of the German people that once lived in my house and village, but it was a blessing that I chose to live here, it has given me and understanding of other people who suffered the same fate as my own family.

What the Russians did here to the German civilian population was truly horrendous, I am also aware that some poles decided to choose their moment and add to the suffering of the inhabitants here.

We do from time to time have descendant German visitors here who are keen to visit their roots, I am happy to show them around and feel a connection to them.

I hope one day Germans may return here, after all the Polish and German people are huge supporters of Europe and free movement.

Understandable when I read some of the comments that are pointed to you and Bratwurst on this forum, you are bound to kick back and have every right to, please remember not all of us are German haters especially in Silesia, it seems every other car on the road has German plates, maybe we could shake hands one day over the peace bridge in Gorlitz then have a cheap beer and meal at the restaurant on the Polish side.

Read his initial posts. He was neutral about Polish issues and mostly conversed with other German members. Now he is simply replying to Polish nationalists` attacks using their own nasty style. They have reared that monster, so to say. :):)

Germany is our land. What we show is just normal and healthy behavior to keep our country clean. That behavior is deeply imprinted in the human nature. You find it in ancient tribes like andaman islands and in most advanced ones like Germans and Japanese.

The land is the foudnation of our people and genetic make up. Without land, we cease to exist. Its that simple.
