"Different" when speaking of countries means that one is better that the other. The average IQ is one of the ways to show it. Crime rate is another. We are not talking blonds vs brunettes.

Connection is broken as we on the Polish side do not speak German (unlike older generation) and they do not speak Polish and younger generation poor English. So what the point? Many younger Poles nowadays do for certain tend to learn more English in school than German as their primary second language.
The irony of course is that in my experience, the teenage students in my ESL-courses for instance, all speak German head-and-
shoulders above English. The latter though, they claim to have have greater interest in learning, despite that powerhouse German

So you're saying that since I wrote Germany was not superior, I definitely meant it was inferior to a different country. So now, let me state : A tomato is not white. Hmmm, have I just said it's black? Oh, that's how it works.

As for my education, I went to school because it was compulsory for a child. I went to university because I was bright enough and wanted myself to get a better start on the job market. Does it make me superior to those who didn't go to university? They might have had different reasons and life circumstances.

As for feeling superior, well here we have a guy who gets all excited that groups of desperate, unarmed men got slaughtered in an unequal fight. And I don't like it.

Back to Germany. As much as I like the US, Germany is superior even to the US on so many counts. If I had to name a country which is superior to Germany, I would have to think hard and long. If I found it, it would be a country like Germany. Switzerland? Even then, it would be thanks to the Germanic part, not French or Italian.

How about Singapore where they beat the f*** out of graffiti "artists" - as one American had a chance to find out. It's clean and well run with little tolerance for morons.

Bottom line: you are wrong with that Germany is not superior line. They are and if you know which country is superior to Germany, please let us in on the secret.

Hopefully, you will be able to justify your choice in numbers, not feelings.
