American understanding of Britain.

Most Americans are openly critical about British pompous attitudes and jealousy of Americans

They have everything to be jealous about. The British are socially and even economically still a feudal society and they are all painfully aware of it.

Social mobility is nonexistent generation after generation. Even for the small few who do acquire some wealth it is always just a splinter when compared to the Amazon forest sized amount of that held by a select few. For those who do manage this tiny bump in their bank balance in their lifetime they are always left in no doubt by those higher up in the food chain that they are not one of them and never will be.

That's why British plebs foolishly try to pull the game of social rank on Americans thinking they can get away with what they think is an unsuspecting audience only to be laughed at again. And yet they have no choice but to play this losing game back in their British homeland.

If it weren't for Prince Andrew the subject of Britain never even arises in most American's world.

It says everything about that small island that it requires a sordid sex scandal involving the abuse of vulnerable young girls in order to get noticed.

You really are an absolute moron.

Most Americans are openly critical about British pompous attitudes and jealousy of Americans

Another moron,
Most Americans do not hate Brits, just as most Brits do not hate Americans.
There is no pompous attitudes or jealousy of Brits towards Americans.
You lie, as you always do, but why?
Is it from an imagined inferiority complex?
Jim, you need to quit this divide and rule nonsense because it does not work.
Fact is that most Brits and Yanks get on fine and nothing you can say will ever change that.

He he, I didn't want to return.
But you are an intelligent man, and you know how passionately Polish blood boils.....I could not resist..... My British mind tells me to steer clear, my Polish heart tells me to fight!

You lie, as you always do, but why?

Britain chronologically is in the 21st century but still has a class structure dating back to the 11th. You can even go back further to find even earlier remnants still present in Britain today. Face the facts why don't you.

You really are an absolute moron.

By they way, didn't you self-righteously declare the other day in another thread that you weren't going to participate in other threads. Something about name calling and toxicity wasn't it?

Yes, exactly, but that`s what Americans envy! They consider it so posh coz it is so historical - Britain was already an empire when frogs were kumkali in New York swamps.

We are independent people and we can change our mind at will. You also change your mind depending how the wind blows in our discussions. I could point out a few threads to you. hahahaha

@Poloniusz
Firstly, I was not refering to you in my posts except to call you a moron.
Secondly, as an American who cannot speak Polish, what more do you have to add to this discussion?

Nope, just a quaint little skansen to see as a tourist.

Didn't you notice that for nine pages the discussion in this thread has been in English and in keeping with the forum in general?

Nope, just a quaint little skansen to see as a tourist.

yet, your obvious envy of all things British can be seen through your activity here. Starting from your first moniker - Shitonya Brits. You have always felt annoyed you can`t be like a Brit - hence, your malicious criticism towards them.

Wow, skansen! Funny. I see the English Polish vocabulary is at hand. hahaha

In the past really, unless you're rural (which most of the UK isn't).

Now things other than class are significant. parental background, skin colour,, etc are less important. Character, decency level of intelligence etc more so. Money talks to those who want to listen, however the one positive legacy of the class system is that money isn't everything.

Wow, skansen, I see an online English Polish dictionary is close at hand. :)
