A bad omen for Christianity? Notre Dame fire.

Of course if they choose metal, it's more naturally resistant to accidental fires like this.

That architect said that the original builders choose wood for the top because of it's weight. The whole structures stability depends on it. So modern reconstructeurs do have to use similiar light weight material...metal would be to heavy.

Some artificial/synthetic impregnated wood probably....

So, that they haven't can be taken as a NO!

A very good point BB.
Looks like the fire started close to the scaffolding,so a building accident is most likely.
Or a builder lighting a Gauloise.....

I wouldn't want to stand in the shoes of the culprit once he is found out....

He or she probably feels incredibly guilty.

I only wonder where Quasimodo will live now. Though I have a hunch he'll find somewhere...

That's my suspicion too. It's amazing how many fires are caused in such a way.

The French are an endangered species in their own country

I really don't think you have ever been to France.
You spout nonsense and have never given examples of personal experiences.

I don't even think you have ever been to England.
You have told in previous posts about visiting family in two cities.
Both the areas you described are Muslim strongholds.
No self respecting Pole would live there........you made it all up.....

I really don't think you have ever been to France.

I have, and took numerous photos. Fortunately, I was there as a teenager as well so i still remember how Paris looked like before there were hundreds of mattresses and tents in the middle of the city and the stench of urine, feces, etc. wasn't quite like it is now.

Both the areas you described are Muslim strongholds.

That's not saying much - almost every city in UK is a muslim stronghold....

Especially the east side of London - it looks more like north africa than europe. Also, my cousin goes to newcastle university and the student housing is in telford - which has a ton of kebab. Actually the flat that was raided a few months back was located right where my cousin lives.

Sadly lts, especially in historic buildings where the wood is very dry.

BB's suggestion of light materials is interesting; there are certainly some cathedrals in the UK who have done this.

A small article:
Rightist Twitter goes crazy. Absurd posts after the fire. "The Fall of Christianity, We shall burn all"

Rightist Twitter goes crazy.

Not a single word of sympathy, just like they had nothing to say when Gorzów Cathedral also went up in flames.

Quite remarkable how much hatred they have, even for the religion that they pretend to follow.

Dirk, any muslim terror organization would LOVE to claim the fire...

The terror groups also didn't claim every single time a muslim drove a car into a crowd, not did they claim every time a priest was stabbed in a church, or a church vandalized, the donation box stolen from, etc. That doesn't mean that a muslim didn't commit this. Considering there's NOTHING saying that it was an accidental fire, the fact that muslims have done this sort of thing against churches numerous times, and the fact that media has covered up muslim attacks on churches certainly gives a lot of credence to the theory that it was a muslim.

No, not at all. The way that people have jumped onto this to push their crazed theories is just incredible to watch. They don't care that one of the most important sites in Catholicism and Christianity was lucky to survive, they only care about their own hateful agenda.

Where is the sense of a muslim attack in the name of Allah if nobody knows about it!

The destruction of such a powerful symbol would be to great a prize to pass up, me thinks....

If it is found out that the unlucky builder who smoked that Galoise which started the fire is also a muslim, would that count as terrorist attack for you?

certainly gives a lot of credence to the theory that it was a muslim.

Every time s*** like this happens or a kid is thrown over the railing to his death in a mall, I pray for the piece of excrement who did it to be a Muslim, a Latino, or a black thug.

As a proof that God listens even to the hard-core atheists like me, I am wrong only once out of 34 times. That makes me a total genius.

There's been atleast 10 attacks on Catholic churches since February in just France alone - more in belgium and other countries. Things things almost never happened yet now there a regular occurrence because of all the kebab that's invaded western europe and hardly ever reported by the media.

patheos.com/blogs/deaconsbench/2019/03/shock-10-catholic-churches-attacked-in-france-in-one-week/

catholicnewsagency.com/news/eucharist-desecrated-statues-smashed-in-series-of-french-church-attacks-94505

breitbart.com/faith/2019/03/20/twelve-french-churches-attacked-vandalized-in-one-week/

In 2018, 875 churches were vandalized. The identity of the vandals is almost always hidden by media - but when it's leaked it's ALWAYS a muslim who did it.

More absolute rubbish!
Why do you only visit the poorest parts of England?
And why do your family live there?
What is wrong with them?
Why do they live in Muslim ghettos?
Your family must either be very poor, lazy scroungers or drug dealers....no normal Poles would live there.

Also, my cousin goes to newcastle university and the student housing is in telford

BS ALERT!!!!!
Dirk, please check a map.......student accommodation for Newcastle University in Telford?????
Telford and Newcastle are miles apart.......if you must lie,use your brain.......

Debating the accuracy of a single point on the curve is one thing and can be done forever.
I did notice that nobody debates the Muslims-to-natives curve itself.
Because it's scary and damning. Just like our Latino-to-white trajectory to a demographic hell and a one-party system.

@Miloslaw

More absolute rubbish!

How is it rubbish? Birmingham has an insane amount of kebab. Same with London - not as bad as Birmingham, but yet the English are a minority in both cities. Specifically, majority-minority as even though they're the largest group they don't account for over 50% of the population.

They don't live in East London. I only go there with my cousin to take his dog for a walk as we get a kick out of the ninjas and neckbeards flipping out and speaking gibberish when he takes a leak on one of their masjids

And they're far from poor. My uncle, who's kids live in London, owns one of the largest hotels in Poland.

My bad i was thinking of another area that also is full of muzzies. He lives in arthurs hill or somewhere around the university and there's a hell of a lot of kebab there mixed with students.

Miloslaw
16 Apr 2019  #112

How is it rubbish?

It is rubbish because student accommodation for Newcastle University could not be, and is not in, Telford.

Secondly, there are more Muslims in London than Birmingham, even as a percentage of the population.

Thirdly, the idea of a Polish family, that don't live in East London, taking there dog for a walk there is just laughable!!!!!
Nobody would do that!
You just go to your local park, wood, Forrest, open space.....
BTW,I have seen that hotel your supposed uncle owns in Poland. It is horrific.
Dirk, you just keep digging yourself in deeper......you truly are the gift that keeps on giving......hilarious!!!
Like I said mate, take a break. For your own sanity as much as ours.

Thirdly, the idea of a Polish family, that don't live in East London, taking there dog for a walk there is just laughable!!!!!

I never said what part of london my family lives in. I said that when i visit my cousin in London (different side of family) we take him to the muslim parts of east london specifically to see the reactions of the kebab

BTW,I have seen that hotel your supposed uncle owns in Poland. It is horrific.

Better than any hotel that you own.... oh wait...

It is rubbish because student accommodation for Newcastle University could not be, and is not in, Telford.

No ****. I was thinking of the area but forgot what it was. Telford was on my mind since it is yet another kebab infested area where a paki rape squad has recently been broken up, although that's not really news anymore in the united kaliphate...

Birmgham, London, whatever. They're all just cucked cities where the native English have been demographically replaced due to their cuckery. That's why even Poles go there. The British will even end up footing the bill for my cousins education. Hell i may even go to uk and claim benefits to add to supplement my retirement just like thousands of poles have. I consider it reparations for WW2 betrayal.

No normal Londoners would ever do that......pure fantasy.....

Better than any hotel that you own

How do you know?
It is still horrible, I wouldn't stay there if you paid me......looks like a Russian built and designed it...... no taste.....
Good Night Adrian.......please chill out and get sensible.........

No normal Londoners would ever do that......pure fantasy.....

That's because 'normal' Londons are cucks who allowed themselves to be demographically replaced in their own country's capital. We do it for the lulz. And it is quite funny watching the ninjas snackbar when the dog takes a leak on their masjid. If you want i'll send you a video.

How do you know? It is still horrible, I wouldn't stay there if you paid me......looks like a Russian built and designed it...... no tast

I don't care what you think and neither do they. Plenty of people including travel websites have found it a great place. Furthermore, it provides enough income to where my uncle can send his kid to school in the UK and give him a Range Rover to drive around in. Do you have a hotel that can provide you the same? Nope.

people of Sarajevo never touched the Serbian Orthodox cathedral during the war, even as mosques were being ruined elsewhere

Dude when will you stop with your lies and propaganda? Why don't you mention what happened to the 150,000 Serbs who lived in Sarajevo before the war? There are only a few thousand left now.

youtu.be/eozHY4N00l8

What happened in Bosnia was a civil war between Orthodox Christianity vs. radical Islam vs Catholicism.

Dougpol1
17 Apr 2019  #117

What happened in Bosnia was

........that its capital was shelled from the hills around by your sicko friends, because the Bosnian government was handed a fait d'accompli but refused to bow to your murderous blackmail, you mean? And the ridiculous thing is that Serbia still hasn't apologised.

An appalling crime against humanity, and do please keep enjoying your international pariah status. No decent foreigner would dream of going anywhere near Serbia either on business or "pleasure" until you show some contrition.

Which, knowing some Serbians personally as I do - you never will. Some sort of national socialist madness - and you will get zero sympathy on this forum pal (apart from the usual suspects....)

delphiandomine
17 Apr 2019  #118

And the ridiculous thing is that Serbia still hasn't apologised.

No, they did. President Tadić apologised for the war, and the Serbian parliament apologised for Srebrenica.

Why don't you mention what happened to the 150,000 Serbs who lived in Sarajevo before the war?

Sure, let's talk about how Serb paramilitaries forced Serbian civilians out of their homes in Grbavica, Ilidza and other areas. It was one of the most appalling acts of the war, including how paramilitaries set fire to apartment buildings so that Bosnian Serbs had nowhere to return to

Dougpol1
17 Apr 2019  #119

President Tadić apologised for the war, and the Serbian parliament apologised for Srebrenica.

I stand corrected. But now they should make it a crime to deny the truth, similar to holocaust denial. Then, and only then, should we be doing business with them.

So you want to censor freedom of expression and speech? And yet you claim that pis is implementing prl era norms. How commie of you...

They removed more kebab than anyone else in modern European history. Good for them. If only other Europeans had the guts that serbs do.
