As I've stated previously, perhaps if the so-called "richer" nations built up economically the poorer ones, there'd no longer be a need for countries such as Poland, Germany, The Netherlands, France, Sweden or Britain to be flooded by scores of ill-fitting migrants in the future. The latter would be more or less satisfied with where they're living and abandon the prospect of moving to foreign soil which seems alien to them.

While they'd be welcome at some time in the class of tourists, there'd be a time limit for their stay:-)

So why don't you start moving to Africa and start helping people in Africa.

@Crow, I'd be far less upset if one of my siblings married out of the faith/culture than if they confessed theirs was an alternative lifestyle! The former is easily defensible, the latter less so:-)

Indeed, the Jewish community throughout Europe is downright terrified... but not necessarily of the prospects of future anti-Jewish hostility, rather, of having to move to a "foreign" country like Israel:-)

Almost a century ago, a majority of Germany's Jews believed that theirs was the last safe haven against anti-Semitism, and (naively) that Hitler, along with his twisted minions, would simply pass away. Those who stayed, were either incarcerated, deported or killed on the spot by the Nazis.

The eternal tragedy of course, to all but the most ignorant, is that Germany WAS their homeland, not Palestine, the US or even England. They'd fought valiantly and died, many of them, in WWI, had sung peons of praise to Goethe, Schiller, and Lessing, had attempted to "Germanize" completely in deference to the land which had given them succor when most needed.

Sadly, those times, as was observed here already, are basically over, but who will pick up the shards of dashed hopes and broken dreams?

Jews were very much educated and useful to society in Europe. They were very successful and somehow their succes brought jealousy or hate in Europe.

This is situation very old. Even before the Christ was born they are recorded anti jewish hate in Greek cities in antiquity.
Muslims in Europe are very largely uneducated and cultuyrally backwards. Moreover they do want to integrate in opposition to jews back in the days.

The Israel governement need jews beacuse they are scared to be a minority in their own country.
Therefore they look quite often for new immigrants. Jews do not make many kids like arabs !
The jewish state went as far as asking jews of France to leave the country for Israel after terrorist attacks.
The french governement was annoyed at this of course. Because jews contribute a lot to french society : businesses, science, arts,ect...

The reason the Jews were so "successful" is that the Catholic Church forbade Jews from practicing trades or professions plied by Christians, e.g. architect, carpenter, candlestick maker etc.., thus to the Jews fell the work forbidden to the Christians, namely, moneylending, being a pawnbroker etc.

Had Jews had the opportunity to practice visual arts (their faith prohibited them from showing a graven image), been permitted to attend university and so forth, (WITHOUT forced conversion!!) the history of Europe would have turned out quite differently:-)

I think the Jewish race has been highly successful and made a contribution to the world as a whole , yes they have struggled but retained their dignity and not taken to the sword to avenge ant perceived past misdemeanors by other unto them , well apart from the creation of the state of Israel , but that's understandable given the Nazi persecution and the need for a safe haven for their race.

As Jews since the Middle Ages were typically barred from most, if not ALL trained professions, they had to forage for themselves, WITHOUT the help of their gentile brethren, hence they did have the luxury of the Christian of sitting on his laurels and waiting his turn; if he didn't hustle, he couldn't survive!
