@Vesko Vukovic
Amy might have been Jewish, Polish, Serb or French as far as I am concerned. Regardless of her addiction, she was a great singer. Far better than anything you posted here.

@Miloslaw
I don't know much of Paloma as a person but I like her voice.
I listened to Paloma, Amy and Duffy at around the same time. Great voices IMO.

No, new to me, he is superb..... I love your taste in music!

Ageed, all great voices, but sometimes talented people are flawed.
This is a dilemma we constantly have.
Is Polanski not a genius because he is a degenerate?

I had never heard of the American musician from Carolina,Johnathan Wilson until I read a review of his new album today.
He has been touring with Roger Waters (Pink Floyd), for years....but his solo style is very "Floydian".....
This is an old tune of his.

youtu.be/lNCxDOHwRlY

I am very impressed by Johnathan Wilson.
Here is another of his older. Tunes.

youtu.be/-hYiY1vOOVw

Johnathan Wilsons new album is called "Dixie Blur" and reaches back to his roots.
From what I have heard, it is very good.
This is one song from that album,

Yet another excellent post.
I am going all Americana now with some superb American Country Music.
The Band Perry with "Better dig two".

youtu.be/ZIdCo_QAz_E

This says it all for me... Shooter Jennings and "Outlaw".

youtu.be/CJwCwGDqiWg

Aaron Lewis with "Country Boy", pretty much sums up the American spirit for me.

youtu.be/vsQzw_Ax8Cw

This one kills me every time.....Brantley Gilbert and "Bottoms up".

youtu.be/ukick72Qafc

Last one.
These guys call themselves The Shires and they are British but do American Country really well.
Why are these guys not massive in the USA?

I am going all Americana now with some superb American Country Music.

The first band didnt do anything for me. Im not a big country fan, but some of its ok, some newer bands. The second song is better and it totally reminds of this song....

Puddle of Mud: Drift and die

youtu.be/wrqH0jXew1k

s one kills me every time.....Brantley Gilbert and "Bottoms up".

New country music. I assume. They have added some more electricity and distortion these days.

Why are these guys not massive in the USA?

Im sorry, cant do it! lol I like a more of a County Rock style.

And Kansas women that play slide guitar!

I like Puddle of Mud and that song was pretty good.
Samantha Fish was more up my street though.

@Crow

The music was OK but Jokers comment nailed it.

You should hang your head in shame...... as a proud Pole, or at least I assume so, you should not be encouraging beligerent Serbs.

This song is for Crow and all the other deluded Serbs on this forum.
This is why Poles do not trust Russians.
And Russians are the Serbs best friends and their bum licking supporters.
Which is why we don't trust Serbs.......
English subtitles for those of you that don't understand Polish.

I will.

Robin Trower...... pure genius....the best party I ever went to in my teens had this album on as I walked in.
Saw him twice, once at The Lyceum in London in around 1976 and then again in 1978 at The Rainbow Theatre in London with my new girlfriend at the time, who is still my wife.... great memories...

Thanks Joker.

Robin Trower is a fecking musical genius..... this is "Day of the Eagle" from 1980.

And this is ""Too Rolling Stoned" an early tune but performed much later.

Hes been around since the early 70`s and is a very famous British guitarist, amongst many, one of the best for sure.

I just found this video of him, 75 years old and still going!!

youtu.be/MV4JUmPsjUQ

This is probably his most popular song. Milo may have posted it already...enjoy!

Seems Robin is not my thing - I like some of that bluesy sound but the mid 70s guys always go on so long - I'm a soul and hip hop fan with limited attentiion span. You got any old time blues recommendations ?

But everyone likes the Ace of Spades - what a heart starter for breakfast LOL
