Maf, you are a serious person, with some small ability in mathematics. Think about what you wrote, and how it can be true:
1) If you lose 10-15 tanks, 30-40 IFVs, and a handful of AD systems every day - how long could this continue?
2) If a decision is made that "we need to pull back, regroup, and rethink this" - sure, it could easily be weeks, or even months. But what will the reaction of the West be, that treat this as some kind of spectator sport unfolding on Twitter and the pages of the Times? Does Ukraine realistically even have this option, given how the high the stakes have been heaped on this offensive?
3) If Ukraine decides to keep hammering at the front until it finds a weak spot, and then pours all of its available reserves into the breach for further exploitation in depth - then we cannot be talking about weeks. We are now talking about 10-15 days maximum, before the machine will simply run out of steam.
3) The history of nearly all large offensives is that of "the longest day". The opening stages of an offensive set the tone and pace for everything that follows. This offensive has had a decidedly poor "opening".
