For a year he counted any piece of Russian armor as "lost" as soon as somebody sent him a telegram pic of a tank sitting in a field - as a result amassing insane counts of destroyed Russian tanks. Now, when Ukraine is losing Leopards and Bradleys left and right, he suddenly starts distinguishing between "mobility kills" and "total losses", and adds all sort of nuance about how they are "recoverable" even though there are photos of a Russian soldier posing next to them.

A few months before, he briefly started a tally of UKR armor destroyed by Russian Lancet drones. Then when the counts became too embarrassing for the UKR side he simply folded the project and stopped counting them.

If you want accurate info about losses for both sites use "Lost Armor" instead. Oryx has completely discredited himself.

There are two kinds of statements about a war made during that war by the combatants, whether ruzzia the aggressor or Ukraine the defender.

There are statements that are subsequently proven to be more accurate and there are statements that are less accurate.

Ukraine's have been more accurate, often very precise. ruzzia's statements (about Bucha, Mariupol, Nordstream, Kakhovka and many more) have all subsequently been proven false.


Aside from the fact that there's not a shred of proof, there has been no verification from any reliable official source in this.

Precision has nothing to do with truthfulness if the statement was made in good faith.

Bobko, what are you talking about.? It is a war, there are going to be losses and casualties .Always too high, those on offensive are prone to sustain significant casualties. There are many Russian squads, troops, commanders that are very good at thier job.

Nato armour provides 🇺🇦 soldiers with better protection, the point being even, if they get hit and lose Bradley or whatnot, chances are most creew survive.
