Just want to add a further few words regarding missiles strikes on pizzerias.

Though we would have struck the "RIA" pizzeria in Kramatorsk anyway (for economic reasons, as explained in previous post), it was not an unpleasant surprise to discover that there were a great deal of muscular, fatigue-wearing, male Westerners enjoying their meals there at the time of the strike.

Everyone talks about the pizzeria, and no one mentions the adjacent shopping mall (which got flattened), and the other small structure to the side.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been using malls extensively throughout the conflict, and from the first days of the war. You can barrack a lot of people in a shopping mall.

Anyways, is it just me or is this war getting more and more farcical (in a tedious way) recently? It's like the Fry and Laurie barber sketch - funny initially but it got too long and nobody has any idea how to end it. :-/

The farce is that Z is a US wh*re and that he sends his men to death while knowing the final result: No, Ukraine will not be getting CDL back and what's left will never be in NATO.

We're on day 365++ of Putin's 3 day war. Last year, they had the Clown Convoy to Kyiv. It took them 10 months to take the strategically unimportant location of Bakhmut. Russia's just had an almost coup over the weekend. Does it look like Russia's winning? A country with a population 3-times the size of Ukraine should have romper-stomped Ukraine. And at best, they're struggling to hold the land that they have managed to take.

The only way Russia can win is with a complete collapse and capitulation of all of Ukraine's remaining forces - however many that is. That's just as likely as a complete capitulation of Russia's forces. While Ukraine is getting upgraded tanks and equipment supplied by NATO and Russia can't even get tanks from China.

It took the US 20 years to eventually run from Afghanistan and leave billions of mil stuff in the Taliban's hands.

Russia could just as easily level Kiev and kill as many civilians as the US killed in K, V, and A. They have the means and they are "evil" - according to Polish Russia-hating idiots who want to have both ways.

Russia didn't for reasons I will not bother to repeat.

Someone has to first try to end it before we know whether or not anyone has any idea how to end. So far, the only ones who have tried to end it are the Russians by invading and thinking they'd be in Kiev by tea-but starting it and being wrong isn't much of an idea. Since then, all anyone has tried to do is keep this thing going.

Ukrainians tried repeatedly by calling the invaders to leave their land and stop murdering their people - that is a very commonsensical demand towards the aggressors before any peace talks can commence.

We heard exactly the same thing about Ukraine, on this very forum, from certain Russian members, a couple of days before the invasion. So, the logical conclusion is: the more Russians repeat they aren't going to invade, the more diligently should a wise country prepare for the invasion.

Of course we have. The first K2s, Abrams and HIMARS launchers already arrived (and we bought sh*tloads of them); we are also getting Patriots and F-35s plus tons of other stuff whilst increasing the numbers of both professional army and the territorial defence. When Russians invade Poland, they will face a modern NATO army reinforced by sizeable American expeditionary forces already present here. Good luck, Vladimir. xD

The increase of the territorial defence is a key factor I think, the easiest thing to do and will have a good effect. That needs to be expanded as much as possible so people are prepared.

Most important are command-intelligence systems. Poland should have our own satellites, certain capabilities to shoot off enemy satellites. Sooner than later our nukes, something I was talking about 10 years ago. Told you we would need it.

More than buying tanks we need better organisation of the military with clear rules and a path of advancement for the people with right attitude and mental acumen. To get rid of PRL rotten ways.

I think nukes give you a false sense of security and so I wouldn't focus on this too much, you wouldn't ever want to use one.
