Well, German experience has not been that great in this regard. Remember the planned tank repair hub in Poland that failed due to overcharges from the Polish side?

This is a cooperation with an Ukrainian arms manufacturer whose workers are staying in Ukraine in any case and thus take the risk. It may raise spirits in Ukraine because countries are willing to invest even while the war still rages and it makes Ukraine slightly less independent from foreign deliveries.

I read something about 200 Million Euros....about 213 Million Dollar.....for about 400 tanks a year....

On the other hand Germany just agreed on a 600 Million Euros military aid package for Ukraine, I could imagine some of it is connected.

Cool, so a German firm will get money from German gov via an Ukrainian firm to build a factory in Ukraine.

Poland and other countries (mostly the Baltics) have received reimbursement from the European Peace Fund (and from other EU funds) for the deliveries made to Ukraine. Reports vary on how much precisely, but the numbers given for Poland are usually between 1-2bn.

For now - Ukraine is using NATO equipment, implementing NATO standards and Ukrainian soldiers are being trained in NATO countries.

Some small NATO countries supplied all their available weapons in some categories (helicopters or howitzers) to Ukraine.

What is missing - is A) official NATO troops (not 'volunteers' or 'instructors') in Ukraine, B) supplies of some weapon categories and C) attacks on Russian Army outside Ukraine by other NATO countries.

Sure - 'accidental' escalation in Grain Corridor and sinking Black Sea Fleet would save Ukrainian soldiers lives.

However - Soviet Union collapsed without using such drastic measures. All it took was 7 years of Special Military Operation in Afghanistan.
