Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 13

Moscow get's an offer from a rearmed Berlin and Warsaw (...) which would/should it choose

I think we all know the answer to this question even without an MA in history. :)

That's why in this hypothetical future we will still be forced to keep the alliance with the USA, even if we - hypothetically - eventually tell the EU to kindly eff off. That's why we will still have to attempt to create some sort of Intermarium alliance, and that's why we will be forced to eventually - hypothetically - get nuclear weapons.

Zugzwang - all our moves are forced.

that would make China and America **** its pants

I think BB meant a - hypothetical - situation in which Germany wants to partition Poland again.

I think BB meant

To me, Germany is not the West.

They are awkward bedfellows with the French, Americans and Brits.

Germany, is closer to us, than to them.

How else can you explain the phenomenal success of German businessmen in Poland and Russia, versus all the others?

There are some cultural links there.

I think we can work with Germany, so long as it abandons its racism towards us, and treats us as partners.

Nobody likes to be treated like a monkey.

A new and reinvigorated Russia, a new Poland, a new Germany

As history shows, everything always ends with a war between Russia and Germany on Polish soil. This time it would end like that too.

war between Russia and Germany

Today, in the 21st century, such a war would last two months.

Germany is probably 5X weaker than Ukraine currently.

Modern Russia would wipe the floor with modern Germany.

Provided Big Daddy doesn't come to the rescue.

To me, Germany is not the West (...) Germany, is closer to us, than to them.

Brilliant intuition (as usual). They are a very similar civilisation to Russia's - Byzantine but without the Turanic element. However, with millions of Turks in Germany these days this difference disappears. You guys are born allies. The problem is we're stuck in the middle - a Latin civilisation country stuck between Byzantine and Turanic friends. Luckily, with the Turanic side of the alliance we have common ethnicity, so there's something to build on, I suppose, if history one day turns out to be an even crazier lady than she usually is! :)

This time it would end like that too.

Eff off with your historic wisdom and realism, Alien. We are dreaming about a different world here ffs, stop ruining the fun! ;)

Modern Russia would wipe the floor with modern Germany.

Never underestimate ze Germans, Bobi. We did it in the past ("two weeks in Berlin, b*tches") and it was a mistake.

Any student of history, philosophy, and art can easily appreciate this.

Nobody of Germany's current "friends" truly loves them. They fear Germany, and they want to keep it down.

We love them, only as you can love somebody you've known for 1,200 years.

I will always faster understand a German's heart than that of a Frenchman or Englishman. I think they also understand us better.

Same thing in our regard. For a Frenchman or Englishman, the Russian will always be some wild man coming in from the cold.

Aaaah - Germany, Poland and Russia, there's so much love between us it's unbelievable.

I will always faster understand a German's heart than that of a Frenchman or Englishman. I think they also understand us better.

Hahahahah... if you ever want to freak out a Pole who annoyed you, just repeat the two quoted sentences to him.

For a Frenchman or Englishman, the Russian will always be some wild man coming in from the cold.

For a Frenchman maybe, but the Brits would seem to harbor a much deeper grudge against you for some reason.

....that is so super interesting, guys....isn't it!

The question behind all this is also a question how "normal" the last decades in Europe have been...if they are really a blueprint for the future....

(I would really love a look into the future...a few centuries or so...)

*gets some more popcorn*

That's PF for you. No other internet board quite like it. ;)

"Too normal" apparently.

Oh, well...

How long can we let these pigmies from their tiny island in the middle of nowhere dictate to us how to live our life?

How can you truly talk about a "common European home", when you let these outside parasites define what it means to be European?

If Russians are not Europeans, then your whole project is one big exercise in racism.

Europe's center of gravity lies somewhere between Warsaw and Berlin :)

I have to disappoint you. Germans think the same.

Yes, for homosexual Wessis, maybe.

But I don't want to start an Ossi v Wessi debate here.

This is all great stuff but now I'm off to watch Lechia GdaƄsk - Motor Lublin on TV.

Yes, my plans of abandoning football forever failed miserably...

Take care, guys.

I told you before....if there is an "archenemy" with some really truly forced friendship it's France....never Russia.

The Germans acknowledge the difference to the Russians....but if there is respect and even fear, then it's the Russian too....it's truly hard won (and learned)!

Maybe it's more pragmatic to think about Germany in regions also....those bordering the West are more western than those bordering the East....that has also historical/cultural traditions.

Bye Torqi....have to leave soon too! :)

To me it is idiotic to compare a greedy Swabian to a sacrificing Brandenburger. A mercantile and dry Rhinelander, to a feudal and boisterous Bavarian.

But we deal with nation states, not regions, when we transact between countries.

NATO, mostly Germany, is drawing up logistics plan to move 800 thousand troops and 200 thousand vehicles to the Eastern Flank of the alliance. The rapid transport plan will be developed by Bundeswehr specialists and is supposed to be ready to be implemented even before Russia invades.

wydarzenia.interia.pl/zagranica/news-nato-szykuje-sie-na-wypadek-wojny-z-rosja-niemcy-w-centrum-t,nId,7675859

Makes sense - if Russia moves forces towards borders to threaten the Baltics or Poland, and as a response NATO moves 800k troops to the Eastern Flank, then Russia might seriously reconsider their blitzkrieg plan (800k NATO + 300k Poland is 1.1 million troops - good luck going through that, Mr P).

Another top North Nigerian general is in the jug for corruption but interestingly the new broom who replaced Shoigu is having zero effect on the battlefield - losses remain high, advances are measures in meters not km and the North Nigerian Air Force remains locked away in case it embarrasses everyone

Belousov? He doesn't have time for silly things like the battlefield or corruption. He says full rosary every day and sings akathists to the Blessed Virgin all day long.

He's a sound fellow, Andriej Remowicz. I had a good feeling about him from the very beginning.

Why would Russia invade Poland? There is no sense.

But I will remind you what Jan Lopuszansky of far right Catholics in parliament of Poland, said back in 1999 year when he spoke in favor of the Serbians that were attacked by the NATO. He said, in short (citation), ``... NATO tomorrow may attack Poland as well.``

According to RU propaganda, Poland is the most anti-Russian country on Earth. Why all Slavs should be ruled by Moscow?

Brate, forget what says Rus. Just look how official Poland behave with Serbia. Recognized Kosovo. Took part in attack on Serbia. Took part in partition of Serbia. Took part in training of Kosovo Shiftar Muslim separatists. In Bosnia and Herzegovina Poland was in alliance with worse Arab mujaheedines against local Serbs.

Who could ever guess that Poland could give a di*k to the Racowie.

Then again, Poland helping in arming of Serbia, via Poland`s air space from Belarus and Russia. Polish post service don`t recognize Kosovo. USA Polonia financing Bosnian Serbs.

Who could understand official Poland.

Well, Tusk coming to Serbia soon and he may clarify.

While Serbia is arming Ukraine and giving a D to Russia.
conclusions who cares what Serbia thinks and does? I thought Russian feelings might be hurt.

Crow

Serbia is among top world ammunition producers. Then, Serbia is militarily neutral. Serbia does not arming Ukraine. Serbia selling it on global market. Its just that often Polish traders buy from Serbia and re-sell to Ukraine. Most certainly, Poles wants bandera nazis to die sooner. Russians agree to it and they don`t complaint. No problem. Send more cannon fodder. And NATO and EU are also happy. Sick bastard Zelenski, too.

Its too bad Clinton didnt finish the job!
