If you support Putin now, you would have supported Hitler in the thirties...
Thirties, schmirties...
People may have been on the fence about Hitler in the 30s, but once things got into full swing it was quite hard to find a Hitler supporter.
Maybe somewhere in Indonesia, or in India you had massive Hitler support - but that's because they were angling for independence from the Dutch and the British (these ended up being pretty well placed hopes).
Also, Hitler had popular support in the Middle East - but again this was largely a product of local Anglophobia.
I think that's it.
By year three of WW2, I don't think there were very many people left in Russia, US, France, or Britain that were big fans of Hitler.
Why then, is it year three of our war in Ukraine, and every day we gain more and more supporters - exactly from the West (the East and South supported us from the beginning)?
Polls show that more than half of the American electorate wants nothing more to do with Ukraine.
This is probably because Putin is not Hitler, and enough time has gone by for everyone to realize that the charges of genocide are fake news. That, or we're taking a REALLY long break after Bucha, before plunging back into the murder business.
It's clear that r*SSia is a clear and present danger to anywhere within missile reach of its borders.
Do you smoke crack? Your country has literally just fired cruise missiles into my country.
Every expert says that you cannot fire a Storm Shadow, a SCALP, or an ATACMS without input from the manufacturer country. This means, somewhere, in some room, some Brit is punching in targeting data into a datalink, and those coordinates are located in Russia.
F*cking breathtaking hypocrisy hearing from a Brit about who is a clear and present danger.
BTW Jon, did you notice that for some extremely strange reason Russia stopped shelling Donetsk with artillery once the frontlines had been moved some dozens of kilometers away from the city?
It's ok though, because we're still shelling our own soldiers stationed at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant on a daily basis.
