Speaking of "rich, ruthless and corrupt", is it just me, but I am really getting tired of all the sleazy lawyers, tax cheats, prostitutes, and the pussy talk Trump brought to us. I wish the man the very best but it's getting way too much.

My predictions: Melania will soon file for divorce, and the Republicans will Nixon Trump out of the office after he wins in 2020 to give Pence a chance to grow into the office before 2024. By that time, he will so tired of all this bs he will be glad to go before the term ends.

I blame the American voters and non-voters (myself included) for the mess - Republicans, Democrats and Independents. And of course the corrupt sleazeballs in the House and Senate. If they would do their job for once, the situation would be completely different.

They won't because the voters, in their infinite wisdom, somehow make almost everything 50/50. If you ask a typical idiot walking down the street if he is against child abuse you will get 50% for and 50% against. The US Supreme Court is the same way: 5 to 4 on issues that should be 9-0.

True, but this is a relatively recent development of the past 25 years or so, if you think about it. Unfortunately, the current administration seems to have made it its ultimate goal to even further divide and polarize the nation while at the same time pissing everybody else off. It was how to attract Trump`s attention in few sentences. Two sentences and maximum few. First sentence was ceremonious and for sure included Dacic`s reminder to his and Trump`s contacts from time when Trump was interested in some investments in Belgrade some 10 years ago. But after that sentence Dacic had to be brief. In opinion of analyzers here it had to be in connection with Islamic league`s and ISIS`s doings on terrain in the region, in deal with certain western European and USA circles, all in the name of USA, NATO and EU. Already in third sentence Dacic had to put some evidences on table- photos, documented private property of important people, documented money flow via certain banks on some banking accounts, info from Serbian/global media and Serbian security agencies, narco mafia activities, human organ trafficking, evidences of non-Serbian origin that confirms the same (Karla del Ponte, Dick Murphy, etc). All that in the heart of Europe. Dacic is capable man. He for sure informed Trump first hand and as he himself said later, his first aim was to provide contacts within new US administration that are trustworthy.

If it's federal, YES. In less that 30 seconds by pardoning the defendant. And guess what! The president can pardon anyone any time if the case is federal. During investigation, during the trial, after conviction, during the appeals, and while incarcerated. And nobody can do nothing about it. Even the Supreme Court.

And he can't in any other case, which is why his criminal cronies are taken care of on the state level. A preemptive pardon in a federal case is somewhat absurd because the defendant is being absolved of criminal liabilities while still being presumed innocent. Innocent until proven guilty? Not to mention that according to the Supreme Court "a person who accepts such pardon is confessing guilt because a pardon carries an imputation of guilt."

The problem with your democracy at this time is that the losing side has rejected the vote and is pursuing revenge by any means possible. Obviously the USA cannot advance at full speed while obstructionism is in play. I see one side of politics has decided that 50% of the voters are sub-par and are totally trying to reverse their vote every single day. Too much energy spent on self serving interests, not enough on voters.
