So let's use food as a weapon. Because the real kicker is supply chains, payment which leads to all kinds of fockups down the line. Most notably food supplies. Once people starve you can get them to do (almost) anything.

Including getting the vax and other crap (by proxy).

Blackmail people with the idea that they need to inject themselves with experimental Pfizer/Moderna vaccines NOW, or they will be in lockdown forever. When in fact distancing measures will continue for a long time regardless. And in reality all kinds of vaccines are being developed, including more "orthodox" ones. And others are working round the clock to provide drugs instead of vaccines. But somehow it's "Pfizer or bust", and that's why we're giving Pfizer to care workers who will still be infectious afterwards. Oh, and to 100-year-olds of course. If they die tomorrow then at least they didn't die from Covid!

This is not even the first "new strain". In September it was already being suggested that the "second wave" was caused by a new, more infectious but less deadly variant that was brought in by people returning from holiday in Spain. The second wave was projected to be longer, with a longer plateau of hospitalisations and deaths instead of one short peak. And lo and behold, it happened just like that. But somehow the whole world has already developed selective amnesia as to this news from only a few months ago, so that the fact that "Viruses mutate, news at 11" really becomes a news headline at 11.

In fact we have all forgotten the reality of how viruses work in the first place, otherwise how can the natural mutation of a virus to become less deadly be perceived as bad news? Unless we believe that corona is some kind of Plague Inc-designed super virus that will spread like wildfire and then kills everyone once God flicks a switch. Be completely resistant to vaccines and treatments. Reinfect people with reckless abandon, totally impossible to build up immunity to it. Give young, healthy people symptoms for the rest of their lives (look! Scary pictures of black toes!). And all that just because a man in Wuhan ate a bat, the government there responded strongly to it, and we didn't. Unlucky us. And lucky them.

I think you both need to create a separate thread on your discussions with each other.....what you say has nothing to do with Covid in Poland and would appear to be on a completely different topic....you both have lots of imagination and it is probably best used in another thread...

If you apply this standard, the thread will become TVP evening news - informative and boring as hell. Thanks to the posters like kondzior it's not.

This being a "global pandemic", it made everything that applies to one country apply to half of them - Poland included.
What some of us suspect that the above is the evidence of global control by the Davos mafia. It's too similar.

If reducing the population is a goal, why are they using the vaccine on senior citizens first? If indentured servitude were the goal then why would so many people be profiting off of their creativity in this pandemic such as COVID supply vending machines, testing labs, hand made designer masks, small start ups for local food and grocery deliveries?

Such a New World Order plan would take many years and would have to be so structured that humans could not make it happen. Too many people would see avenues to personally enrich themselves more than their co-conspirators. It is simply impossible.

Can we now actually get back to discussing the pandemic issues instead of conspiracy theories?

Sure we can. Greed does not need conspiracies. It's inherent to humans and it controls their actions just as well as an actual conspiracy with hushed voices or coded messages. That video in kondzior's post above is as good a proof as anything.

Canada has announced it will be mandatory for people returning from abroad will require a negative PCR Test no older than 72 hours prior to arrival. This will be a logistical nightmare for those who must travel. I anticipate that this will be more common throughout the world as the vaccines are rolled out and levels of international travel return to "normal".

A PCR test in Poland is about 150 zloty, results in 15 minutes available everywhere. Nasal swab available everywhere, results in 24 to 48 hours cost about 450 zloty. Easy to find and get done.

In Poland they are going at quite a good pace - as quick as most other European countries

Croatia is even worse with only 8,000
Germany is at 132,000
U,K. is at 947,000
While the U.S. is at 3.1 million.

Yes it's possible - the UK has been vaccinating 50k a day in average

Poland only started 3 days ago. There are 800 points working so that's about 50 a day in each point, or 4 per hour.

I know maths isn't a strong point for you but these mass vaccinations need to hit fingers of 100k plus per day. If it's only 40k a day then it would take 1000 days to vaccinate everyone- that's 3 years

But we aren't talking about the U.K.

Then when you factor in the millions that are going to refuse them my figure would be even lower.

In Poland though they are expecting less than 50% of people will get poked. Thanks to the government not educating people on the vaccine and letting the the untrue and unfounded rumor of DNA manipulation flourish, more people will die.

Read a report that in the post war era, Poland had more deaths in 2020 than any other year. More than 460 thousand deaths is a large number, considering a vast majority are older, PiS again killing off their own supporters.

It is really amazing to me how this government continues to bungle just about everything yet remains in power. Only 16 days left in this great lockdown that is proving to be anything but effective as numbers continue to stay the same daily for infections.

And there are still not enough of them. A temporary hospital in Szczecin is taking in more and more patients but the staff doesn`t increase and the situation is getting difficult. The hospital management is begging medics to take overtime.

Parties which didn`t promise benefits would have invested more in health care - e.g., they would increase doctors` and nurses` salaries. They would invest in equipment - was it you who mocked those ancient beds from 1970s installed in temporary hospitals? They wouldn`t waste millions on useless ventilators or masks without proper certificates. They would change the system so that hospitals aren`t crushed by gigantic debts. etc etc

How? For example, they would hire reasonable people to deal with problems. PiS didn`t coz they hire only from their own circles, and as they are rightards, the choice is very limited.
