Coronavirus in Poland

I'm afraid I'm immune to two things: bulls**t and Chinese flu. Otherwise, given the number of people I'm socializing with, I would get it by now.
Fortunately, more and more people are calling the bull. And soon masked individuals are going to be called freaks and will be put into a loony corner with flat earthers where they belong.

...because they are when masked where there is no medical need. Like in their own damn cars!

Thugs, criminals, drug dealers and people who the police might want a word with, must love these masks. Having their face covered allows them to move around more freely.

I have seen it first hand Vincent.
Mask, sunglasses and a hoodie and they are good to go......any damn place they want.

And it is exactly how 2 people were killed as a Kantor shop was ripped off for 1 million pln the other day. Another jeweler was robbed by three men in masks, hoodies and they road away on bicycles with the loot.
I thought about this in the first lockdown while at the bank. I just remember sitting there thinking how stupid this is and how anyone could manipulate their looks to get access to other peoples accounts. So they looked at my ID but not once was I asked to remove my mask.
More and more places opening now. One of my favorite dining spots has some brown paper over the windows and lots of people coming and going. Definitely going to have to check out all the activity this weekend.

This pandemic has made the rich much richer if you can only imagine that.
AMERICA'S BILLIONAIRES HAVE GROWN $1.1 TRILLION RICHER DURING THE PANDEMIC
US billionaires have collectively become $1.1 trillion, nearly 40%, richer since mid March, according to a report published Tuesday by progressive groups Institute for Policy Studies and Americans for Tax Fairness.
And one more, 'Oh Really' !
Vaccine manufacturer Merck has abandoned development of two coronavirus vaccines, saying that after extensive research it was concluded that the shots offered less protection than just contracting the virus itself and developing antibodies.
I wonder what they will have to instill fear in us next year............war with China is my guess.

Probably very few. Far, far fewer than by the disease.
That's one reason the world's population is growing. More vaccinations = more healthy people.

The question is how many people would be killed by the vaccine.
Demi Moore looked somewhat decent for a 50 year old. Like the other woke (((hollywood))) types, she was bragging on twitter how she's getting the covid vaxx and all. she disappeared for a few days, then reappeared with a ****** up face...
I'll never take that ****. No ******* way.

We will never know how many died from the virus because the ruling mafias lie to scare us into compliance and watch how it works or to hide their blunders.
Third reason: they never want to be called "killers", no matter how many will die from other causes - as long as it's not the virus.
Suicides? No problem. Drug overdose? Who cares. Virus? Oh, my God! Lock everything up forever!

Probably very few.
Don't worry, it will be explained that these are exceptions and the people in question had underlying risk factors.
It's all totally normal, and not at all completely 100% like the "virus" we're "vaccinating" against.

Within normal. One reason why vaccination in general has been such a resounding success.
Polio, smallpox, measles, rubella...

...but in detail the untested vaccine...

Ten people have been confirmed sick in covid-19 at the care home Gerdas gård in Gothenburg, despite receiving two doses of vaccine against the disease.
The municipality and the region will now investigate how the infection entered the home and why the vaccinated tenants fell ill.
In addition to the ten tenants at the care and nursing home, five of the staff have been confirmed sick. Residents received the first dose of Pfizer / Biontech vaccine on 27 December and the second injection on 19 January.

Nobody ever said that any medicine is 100% effective; and in this case, they'd of course only received the first of two doses. That's perfectly transparent, as evidenced by the newspaper report.
Nevertheless, vaccination in general has probably been the single greatest advance in medicine in the history of humanity.

Covid test itself is faulty, it's a lab test. I have heard of people being wrongly diagnosed and a few developed unrelated complications during their hospital stay.

Covid seems less of a disease and more of a wealth transfer mechanism.
jon357
28 Jan 2021 #4370
The same can be said of any crisis. It's still a disease though.
What are your feelings on next week's change in the restrictions here? Do you think they're consistent?

less of a disease and more of a wealth transfer mechanism.
That's long been the main motive behind lockdown policies....
A disease with a 99 % or so survival rate that's most dangerous for those over 80 is a reason to close down schools? Or have governments been looking for a way of getting out of education?
cruisepatron
28 Jan 2021 #4372
I don't trust the numbers, the number of cases are being controlled to suit needs. Government can increase or decrease Covid testing.
looking for a way of getting out of education?
I think it is more to do with debt. Governments don't want citizens to have savings... for obvious reasons if you understand.

I think it is more to do with debt.
For years governments (esp US government) have wanted to get out of law enforcement and education and devote themselves to finance....
Last summer you had large crowds calling for an end to the police and public schools have been replaced by zoom.... you think that's all just an accident?
Governments don't want citizens to have savings...
They don't want you to have anything, they've gone all in with wall street and economic vultures....
There is a virus, which might be getting more dangerous since so many countries have cultivated it (rather than let it burn itself out quickly).... but that's the means.

Welcome to the modern day slavery. Earlier they used to force people now they give you "choice". You have right to choose however, you cannot chose your consequence.

In Poland?
Just saying in general.
Recently I found a research, pasting it below.
A quarter (24.4%) of Poles say they have no money saved up, while almost a third have less than 5,000 zloty (€1,100) in reserve, according to a new study. Almost 35% say they could survive for only one month living off just their savings.
A survey by the Economic Information Bureau (KRD) finds that 11.5% of Poles have under 1,000 zloty, while a further 16.7% say they had between 1,000 zloty and 5,000 zloty. Almost a third of Poles said they have a buffer of more than 5,000 zloty.
Living off just their savings, 7.5% say they would be able to sustain themselves for one week, 9% for two weeks, and 18% for one month. Another 26% say they have enough for three months, and a further 17% for up to half a year. Just 22% of respondents said they would survive for a year or more.
The study was conducted in late October by IMAS, a Polish research institute.

In Poland, banks are generally slow to repossess. Now, the pressure will be different since the number of people who can't keep up with payments will be huge.
The same for credit card and loan payments. many, many people must be in serious arrears.
