I have a friend in her 40s who contracted Covid last year and was hospitalised for it. Previously very fit and healthy, her heart has been damaged, she has severe lung problems and ten months on, is unable to work. This is the reality of long covid and it makes me angry that someone so desperate for attention is lying about something so serious.

The new cases are with increased levels of testing... (over 86,000 today) the more tests the more positive results (and testing more people increases the percentage of positives as well though not greatly)

In terms of new hospital admissions (by my calculation) the highest day was tuesday (about 1200), wednesday was about 730 and today about 660... so while the overall number is increasing the rate of increase isn't increasing (if that makes sense)


it would be sad if it weren't so transparently dishonest...

This is exactly how long Covid can seriously affect peoples lives and is something many people seem not to know much about or are reluctant to consider this as a real condition...it is a real with devasting consequences, which is in its early days and I just hope that science can find solutions soon.

Yeah, I think in Britain we are beating Covid, but this "Long Covid" could well be a long term problem.
We just.do not know enough about it and it seems to affect the younger middle aged most, 40 to 55.

What is scary is how easy it is to control most of the society with such primitive social engineering techniques.

Take a new mutation of a flu and blew it out of proportions. Feed it to the masses and they will willingly do whatever you tell them to do.

Last weekend I when I went shopping I saw a young woman with ~2 yo daughter in my local Tesco. Both of them weren't wearing any face-rug.

I saw a fellow human being among dust-masked bots so I send her a smile. That young mother's got bigger balls and more common sense than 80% men on this thread.

As I said to my accountants just yesterday, numbers do not lie, the people counting them do. Deaths and rates of death are the only numbers that matter with COVID. This is the problem. Everyone talking about infection numbers.

Imagine the conversation every year if we talked about the flu this way!? No one would ever go to work and the world would stop. I know more than a dozen people that have had it. Two have died. One was 94 yrs old who had many other conditions, and the other in his 30's with a condition that was unknown until death. Most others in their 40's to 70's and not one with serious issues, only two showed any symptoms and that was only for a few days.

While it is terrible that some people have to deal with it long term, it is a miniscule amount of people. It is terrible people die from it, but people die from the flu every year.

As I said months ago, the rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer. The middle class is simply getting destroyed, and young people with great ideas are being kept from innovating in business because of this. The children are being dumbed down by lack of in person schooling.

I was pretty afraid of this a year ago. But after a year, I do not wear a mask outside any more unless going into a crowded area, and will not. Bought an inhaler just in case I get stopped and can say I have asthma, they have to prove I don't.

Nothing is going to change though until people take their lives back, and in general most have been turned into such PU$$*^S that will never happen.

Since Big Pharma and and Gates are contributing so much money they have an undue influence. Originally Oxford University was going to open source their vaccine and anyone could produce it, just as Salk did with his polio vaccine. Since gates gives hundreds of millions of dollars to oxford he strongly suggested they don't do that and work with Astrazenica.

Also GAVI have diplomatic immunity in Switzerland. Ie can't be ivestigated or computers can't be seized. Gates admitted a few years ago that he is making 20 times more from vaccines than he did from his past Microsoft days. Hence one of the many reasons of the total lack of focus on early treatment for corona virus and scare tactics about the virus.

This is true. And PiS have not acquitted themselves well in the Covid crisis.

The currency is plummeting, the economy is stagnating, and most of the less negative predictions for the economy are over-optimistic at the moment.

It will be interesting to see what decisions re. lockdowns are made for after 9/4.

Plummeting PLN you say? PiS says it strong. How could they be wrong? The dollar has only gained 7% in a week on the pln. And trending to get really clobbered after this new lockdown begins tomorrow. Looking forward to it being back around 4.2 like it was last year. Buy all the pln you can and you will make at least 15 to 20% by June.
