Had lunch at a rebel restaurant for the first time in half a year yesterday with some folks.
Upon entering we were asked to sign a contract for 'renting coworking space' lol.
Another one in the area does the same thing but goes a step further and only allows entry if you bring a laptop with you.

People are opposed to vaccine certifications/passports so anyone can say they were vaccinated when they actually were not.

There is also nothing stopping a business or jurisdiction from refusing to recognize any proof of someone being vaccinated or rejecting the type of vaccine administered.

Months ago some doctor (not Fauci) was hailing the new vaccines because the regular flu vaccine was only 40% effective.

This was news to me since every year there was a flu shot campaign but no one ever would say they didn't have much efficacy anyway.

Today everyone is insisting on wearing a mask and shaming those who object.

But tomorrow everyone will be complaining about them for other reasons:

Imagine if they told people that for birth control shots or IUDs, you'd still have to use condoms, nobody would bother with that, but in this hysterical dystopia, we're told to get shots and mask up still(along with other measures) with a straight face.

Not exactly. The covidians don't claim that a vaccinated person will not be a spreader but only that it protects him. That is why Fauci was right in the debate with the senator by implying that the unvaccinated must still be protected by the masks worn by all, including the vaccinated. Which means forever since some will simply refuse to get vaccinated.

This is where the senator had a chance to nail him by simply asking the question: How many must be vaccinated to make masks unnecessary?

And: why should I wear a mask to protect those who do not want to get vaccinated?

This would force the scumbag to say, I don't know or name that number and risk being held to it later.
Bottom line: the senator forgot they you never win by making speeches. Only by asking questions.

What does Fauci have to do with COVID in Poland? It doesn't look like people here are paying much attention to him or using him as a guide. The donkeys here are spinning the wheel of fortune and making things up as they go.

As for vaccines, its a pretty simple concept. Dont want one dont get one. They wont hold the world hostage with masks forever. Eventually they will be gone and people without vaccination can risk what they want as they want to. I will carry my vaccination card when I get it and unless I am indoors with other people will refuse to wear a mask again.

Meanwhile Poland approaches 100K tests per day when they couldnt get to 20K test per day too long ago. Shocking how efficient they have become at testing, yet they cant process vaccinations at nearly the same rate. The only word for this is incompetence.

Yes. PiS (and they aren't alone among governments in this) just haven't addressed the scale of the effects to the economy and to society as a whole. And the longer they leave things, the less they do, and the more they fiddle while Rome burns, the harder and more expensive the costs involved in helping the economy come out of this.

Major crises are not a time for laissez-faire economic policy combined with expensive social capital funding. As primary sectors go, agriculture and food production will not save them. The longer they let the situation deteriorate, the more it drifts from a need for stimulus to a need for reconstruction. And PiS aren't up to that.

Ironically, pandemic of Covid-19 would make Poland free. How that? Nicely. Without pandemic in a less than 50 years Poland would be completely assimilated and turned into non-Slavic. This way, with pandemic doing its worse, western Europe would be reduced to ruin, forced to show its true greed and deeply backward face. So, in a post-Covid world, Slavs of Poland won`t seek to assimilate into western Europeans. No, they would praise the God for He in His wisdom preserved their souls, saved them.

PiS props up their friends with truck loads of pln. They do nothing for small business operators because they are all communists at heart. The "industry" will feed the motherland BS they keep touting with "infrastructure" projects that are not needed and other wasteful spending. Small business was virtually non existent under the communists, and anyone too successful was either related to communist leadership or disappeared. Sound familiar?

COVID meanwhile is very dangerous for old people and those who are already sick. That much is clear around the world. Yet they continue to tell the majority of people who are healthy and not old or at risk to suffer for the few who are at risk instead of targeting those at risk with the stay at home orders. That would be the most effective and efficient way of handling this. But you know, that requires common sense and PiS has none.

Your choice to not get vaccine is your choice. It shouldn't impact anyone else's ability to work or do anything else they have a right to do. People who cant get vaccine then they have a choice too.

This is not about relaxing restrictions. This is about PiS breaking the laws of Poland. They refuse to declare a state of emergency because then they have to pay everyone, and then they would be within their rights to make all these nonsensical rules because no one would lose their life savings and business. But they dont do that because then they couldn't afford all their other communist programs and could not funnel money to their cronies.

Lockdowns do not work. This has been proven in many instances. The only reason these pseudo restrictions are in place is because PiS did not prepare hospitals for the second wave. They said they defeated the virus, and PiS supporters in the mountains believed them. Now those people are getting killed off because they had to have their big summer weddings and parties.

People are loosing sight of the fact that China is to blame, and people around the world have free will. Those outside of China and Russia have never signed on for autocratic governments.

People will die from this virus, the flu, and getting hit by trams and cars. Its life. Dont like it and dont want the risk, stay in side live off your social welfare programs and order your groceries on line until you feel safe enough to go outside. Meanwhile the rest of us should be able to move on how we choose.

It's dangerous no matter if they give the exemption. We are talking about limiting people's freedoms if they don't do what the government wants.

It seems like a wider rollout of the existing regulations that some countries have about vaccination certificates. I have one that shows I was vaccinated for Yellow Fever and needed to show it when crossing certain borders as part of my old job.

My worry isn't so much the government whose scope for actual activity is generally limited by resources etc, more private companies (and their insurers) who may start requesting it unless there's legislation in place to stop them doing that. If you book with Pontins (and I think CenterParcs) they already check the electoral roll. Officially as part of their safeguarding policy, allegedly as discrimination against travellers and in my opinion a nasty step towards a China style 'social credit' system. I'm on the electoral roll myself, however on the 'secret' part so the entry isn't visible to companies who pay for copies or individuals who try to snoop; I wonder if they'd cancel any booking I made....

Experimental vaccines being forced on us to get on an airplane restricts travel to those that refuse them.
So, yes, iffy is a very reasonable mind set.
I would like to see a statistic (impossible) that shows how many people had Covid and didn't even know they had it.
I would like to see an honest statistic to see how many people that died of other causes that were counted as Covid deaths.

I had that C19 back in January, yes a nasty cough, dizziness and generally not a peasant thing to have, Im' sure it won't be beneficial for my lungs. Plus six weeks of aftereffects but it wasn't as bad as a swine flue I had back in the day.

That lockdown thing is BS. Mask OK, social distancing fine, some travel restrictions maybe but lockdown is just a F BS.

What about all those cafes, restaurants and other businesses, big business work without being closed down.
