Same here. Lot of loopholes and in any case, some pubs are having lock-ins anyway. Mind you, there'd probably be a QR code on them and they'd expect the pubs to scan. That would only work at big pubs with bouncers, unless they expect an ordinary pub to check every customer.


Let's hope. People are fed up with it all now. A friend (he's 44 and not in a vulnerable group) is getting his second dose on Monday, so they're obviously cracking on with it.

This has been a sad trend for a while, with so many closing over the last few years. People who do go out are itching for some normality though, and if they're open in the summer, places will be busy. I think they said something about outdoor beer gardens being reopened soon, and that would obviously be a start.

These worrying statistics are understood by most people but what is important are those who believe that Covid won't affect them or is in some way is just like having a bad cold really need to absorb and take note of the current information....with hospital beds near to capacity and infections rising anyone who plans to meet up with others, weekend trips to Zakopane, mixing without masks etc need to seriously re-think things....it is the few who spoil it for the majority.

It is also concerning that despite additional hospital Covid wards being set up to cope with increasing numbers of infected people, it would seem that there are insufficient numbers of trained personnel to run them....hope something is done soon.

Maybe the best thing would be to have a proper shutdown and not a pretend one that is happening at the moment....that said it is of course particularly devastating for business and just wish the government would provide more support to small businesses.

How I heard these days, some says anti-Corona vaccines are accommodated to ethno genetics of recipient. Pfiser and AstraZeneka are best for Anglos, Sputnik V is best for Slavs, etc. It does not mean they aren`t good for others but, its about best effects.
