Coronavirus in Poland

Crow
29 Mar 2021  #5671

Citizens of Britain, Italy, Brazil and Spain talk about free vaccination in Serbia. Some applied as tourists, some are business people that travel via Serbia, some just came on a spot and got vaccine and some applied online for vaccines, got confirmation and came to receive. All are extremely satisfied with treatment.

Citizens of Britain,

No need.

We get it for free in Britain and roll out is faster here too.

You are lucky you escaped EU madhouse so you now have some semblance of state organization.

You are lucky you escaped EU madhouse

This is true.

We're all going to die now.

You're objecting that the rules are being relaxed?

Are you familiar with the concept of "sarcasm"? Are you totally sure you're British? Watch some good 'ol Monty Python and stop lowering the quality of discussion on PF's

Are you familiar with the concept of "sarcasm"? A

The lowest form of wit.

At least the restrictions are now loosened so yo7 won't look such a knobhead for breaking them.

You're objecting that the rules are being relaxed?

I think the objection is that the government should not have the power to make such unscientific CCP inspired "rules" in the first place.

1989 - the world makes a gigantic leap toward freedom

2020 - the Chinese Communist Party successfully exports its model of governance to the rest of the world....

the objection

His 'objection' isn't shared by the majority who dislike the covid restrictions but follow them due to common sense.

unscientific

And of course covid levels are falling and the restrictions are being removed one by one.

The alternative options of proceeding like Brazil or Poland with surging hospitalisations and governments unable to cope is unappealing.

restrictions are being removed one by one

How will you leave the UK?

jon357
29 Mar 2021  #5681

By air, probably.

mafketis

By air, probably.

Maybe you can take a few days off in Portugal (where infections and fatalities have fallen off a cliff).

jon357

a few days off in Portugal

Nice, but no plans to go there. Anyway, it's still in a state of emergency with full lockdown, so it wouldn't be much fun.

A friend who lives there says they're steadily lifting restrictions, one by one and plan to be back to normal in about 6 weeks so it might be a possibility when things level off.

mafketis

still in a state of emergency with full lockdown

which is non-scientific horseswallop

Are you a virologist?

Good that you admitted the lockdown worked there, since hospitalisations have, as you said, "fallen off a cliff" during the lockdown period.

A quick look online says that they expect to remove all restrictions by 3.May.

Good that you admitted the lockdown worked there,

Lockdowns always work. They reduce crime, air pollution, global warming, car accidents, public intoxication, school bullying, and a dozen other things. They even reduce medical bills.

So the fu*ck what?

jon357
29 Mar 2021  #5687

The important thing is that they reduce transmission of covid.

So the fu*ck what?

Enjoy life each day!

Are you a virologist?

Don't ask me. Ask Xi Jinping, they were his idea and grew out of the same governmental policy that's behind the slave labor and concentration camps in northwestern China, about which people are awfully quiet lately...

They're doing massive damage to American children and youth....

And when the lockdown is gone because people need to go to work, covid or shmovid is free to roam again.

Another lockdown?

children and youth....

What's THAT?

jon357
29 Mar 2021  #5690

Ask Xi Jinping, they were his idea

Not here they weren't.

Lockdowns are annoying, and damaging to society and the economy, however they achieve their aim. To reduce covid transmission, as we've seen in the U.K. and Portugal.

Novichok
29 Mar 2021  #5691

To reduce covid transmission,

By how much, Mr. Science?

jon357
29 Mar 2021  #5692

They're doing massive damage to American children and youth....

Doubtless, however if the alternative is the situation in Brazil...

Novichok
29 Mar 2021  #5693

No. The alternative is to lockdown grandpa and let kids go to school.
Am I a genius or what?
So, how much is covid reduced by a lockdown? You claimed it, you prove it.

jon357
29 Mar 2021  #5694

Am I a genius or what?

What.

johnny reb
29 Mar 2021  #5695

how much is covid reduced by a lockdown?

The spike that we will see after the family Easter celebrations, the two times of year people attend church, (Christmas & Easter), the wild spring breakers, and the surge of illegals being turned loose in our country in the next two weeks will answer that question.

Novichok
29 Mar 2021  #5696

What.

Yeah, what is the covid reduction by locking life down?
How about talking to the Amish folk who gave the finger to lockdowns and masks.
These uneducated people had enough wisdom to know that they cannot steal by printing money and that life has to go on. Duh!

mafketis
29 Mar 2021  #5697

Not here they weren't.

Of course they were.

Novichok
29 Mar 2021  #5698

That's a good argument but unnecessary.
Before we claim damage, the bootlickers should prove the necessity. There was never a necessity to lockdown kids.

jon357
29 Mar 2021  #5699

Of course they were.

China doesn't make policy for the U.K.

Or Poland yet.

Novichok
29 Mar 2021  #5700

What about that "reduction" by lockdown? No numbers? It's "science" so what's the problem?
