Yesterday, on the way out of Costco, I saw a couple with two kids, 3 and 5. The store does not require masks so the parents weren't wearing them. The kids did, though. And so did everybody else. It felt like I am back to Planet Stupid.

Hey, maf, did you notice that the mortality rate curves are the same shape everywhere? Steep up and - within weeks - a steep slope down regardless of if it is Florida, Poland, or Colombia.

This would suggest that we are dealing with things we can't control - like a living creature from a scary movie that mutates at its own pace while the lockdown and masks fascists pretend that they are actually doing "something" or at least "raising awareness".

You know what's really scary? That we'll be debating this nonsense in this thread in 2023, after the ninth wave and the tenth booster shot drive from our authorities.

Australia is taking a huge hit right now over their mandatory lock down.

I don't like how the percentage of positive cases keeps creeping up

According to Polish govt ProteGo Safe app on my cell 19448585 people have had first doseand fully vaccinated population is 17156317 as per yesterday,almost all Poland will be vaccinated soon at least with one dose(provided govt is providing real figures).Positive cases in that case mean nothing,there were 6 deaths yesterday all from coexistent diseases and 0 from Covid alone..I think if the figures are correct then nothing to worry about.

We will always have cases, that will be indefinite and eventually they need to stop advertising them daily. It's the impact it causes to individuals etc that is the concern. If we believe in the science those who choose the vaccine route (I did) should be better prepared that those who didn't. But I guess time will tell on all fronts!

I don't agree with this. It's freedom of choice. Where does it stop if that is imposed. If you drive your car and have an accident, should the ambulance wait to see if you were speeding to attend to you or they should attend to you? Same thing really, different example

The messaging about the "vaccines" was awful from the start (you have to take it! but it won't change anything for the foreseeable future! you can still get or transmit covid! but still, you have to take it!)

Astrazeneca just concluded the first clinial tests for a Covid19 prophylaxis drug. It is expected to protect for about one year agains the virus.
If all works out like it seems to be it could get the admission in spring 2022....
