Coronavirus in Poland

Does anybody have an update on the Polish government's proposed changes to the law, which will allow employers to send their unvaccinated staff on unpaid leave, or reduce their salaries?

that the official UK "vaxxed vs unvaxxed" numbers are verifiably wrong:

Confucius: All ruling class numbers are wrong and only one way - to serve the ruling class better.
Jon: All ruling class numbers are always right.

Time to let it take its course.

Bingo! Hello, Mr. Darwin, you can quit turning. There is still hope...
Hey, jon, read his post and see how intelligence looks when properly applied.

now seems to be a case of diminishing returns.

The covid mob ran out of new tricks and we - out of patience. That is why my two granddaughters are now in the kitchen with nana making brownies.

Atch that law is under discussion but probably won't happen. There are obstacles to asking your employees health status (for good reason) and the govt delay is partly because they are wondering if it's worth to throw the baby out with the bath water.

Whatever they propose it will certainly be challenged in the constitutional court (assuming it still exists !)

Jon: All ruling class numbers are always right.

The one tier is the most interesting to me, because it inter-permeates all other tiers. This tier includes literal Satan/demonic worshipers. Yes these people literally believe in a dark demonic lord and they worship it and its lesser demons. These are people who are exploiting the C19 agenda in order to commit murder and celebrate death, in the name of their dark religion. These are the people who put into place the mechanisms by which aborted fetuses' tissues are allowed (encouraged) to be used in vaccine production. These are the people who know the "vaccines" kill and they are more than happy to inject them into as many arms as possible. They celebrate desecration of innocence by way of the blood of the unborn. They hope demons will possess large swaths of humanity via using the cursed "vaccines" as conduits into their victims. Every victim that dies because of a "vaccine" they consider a blood sacrifice to their lord. For all of their efforts they believe upon death, these dark acolytes will hold esteem with their vile lord in whatever afterlife they imagine. All the while hoping they are allowing more its evil will into the living world before then.

Twaddle.

Balderdash.

Wibble.

Y'know, the worm tablet Ivermectin's meant to be taken orally, not smoked...

Just in time for.....

Day 88 (or 78 or 28)* of the fourth wave...

percent of positive test results: 18.9 % of 37,777 tests...

hospitalization: +263 = 6866

intensive care: + 35 = 580

deaths: 9 (7 with comorbidities)

from the previous day**: seven day moving average of daily deaths + 6 = 80

Currently infected (how ever they happen to calculate that....) some bogus number over 240,000.... (which kind of throws a lot of the other numbers into doubt as well...)

*differing accounts of when the fourth wave began

**the source I use is a day behind and I'm too lazy to calculate on my own

Well, of course that's a perfect example of why PIS wanted to 'reform' the court, so they could push through any legislation they want to.

Day 89 (or 79 or 29)* of the fourth wave...

percent of positive test results: 16.8 % of 29,091 tests...

hospitalization: +338 = 7204

intensive care: + 23 = 603

deaths: 13 (6 with comorbidities)

from the previous day**: seven day moving average of daily deaths -2 = 78

Currently infected (how ever they happen to calculate that....) some bogus number over 240,000.... (which kind of throws a lot of the other numbers into doubt as well...)

Not the case in Poland. Try to be relevant.

Novichok
2 Nov 2021  #8324

No, unless the eight that died are under 20. That would be scary.

mafketis
2 Nov 2021  #8325

It would, but I can't help thinking something else (potentially good) is at play, as in the virus is simply getting less dangerous - that is the usual case and even the supposedly dreadful delta 'variant' wasn't more dangerous than alfa it just spread more easily (and was a bit more vaccine resistant).

Figures for Wednesday (and esp Thursday/Friday) will be inflated due to post holiday catch up, it will be interesting to see what happens next week....

Nothing new here, but the only relevant metrics are how many are in hospitals and how many died - adjusting for the obvious, including age.

Transmissions are bs and the higher the number the better. The "case" fanatics overlook that fact and can't accept that the best of all situations would be when everybody is a "case" and only so many died. Very few cases and that many deaths would be truly scary.

it will be interesting to see what happens next week....

Good point. I am curious about the death rates in 2022 for the same reason. The prediction I made earlier was that it should be lower than the moving average since it's impossible to die twice.

The death data and impact of any pandemic should be expressed in years lost, not headcount. An 80-yo and a 20-yo are not the same in years lost alone. If we consider other factors, that comparison gets a lot worse for the 80-yo guy like me.

A whistleblower involved in Pfizer's pivotal phase III Covid-19 vaccine trial has leaked evidence to a notable peer-reviewed medical publication that poor practices at the contract research company she worked for raise questions about data integrity and regulatory oversight.

Brook Jackson, a now-fired regional director at Ventavia Research Group, revealed to The BMJ that vaccine trials at several sites in Texas last year had major problems - including falsified data, broke fundamental rules, and were 'slow' to report adverse reactions.

When she notified superiors of the issues she found, they fired her.

Day 90 (or 80 or 30)* of the fourth wave...

nb. numbers for today and tomorrow (and friday) will be higher than usual as holiday delayed record-keeping makes its way through the system...

percent of positive test results: 15.2 % of 68,383 tests... most tests in one day in.... months, but the percentage about the same as it's been...

hospitalization: + 707 = 8257

intensive care: + 58 = 692

deaths: 124 (80 with comorbidities)... back to the (roughly) 2/3-3/4 ratio

from the previous day**: seven day moving average of daily deaths -12 = 69

Currently infected (how ever they happen to calculate that....) some bogus number over 249,000.... (which kind of throws a lot of the other numbers into doubt as well...)

*differing accounts of when the fourth wave began

Thanks for continuing to post the numbers Maf. The percent of positive test results is a very handy metric for a quick view of the situation. I wonder at what point Covid will stop dominating the daily news and we'll simply accept that it's just another bugger of a thing that kills some people.

not until someone invents a vaccine that gives permanent immunity to the virus - from what I can gather with the current technology we are bound to have a jab every half a year to have some kind of protection - also there is this long-Covid thing that affects a significant proportion of those who contracted it

Atch
3 Nov 2021  #8335

a vaccine that gives permanent immunity to the virus

That's most unlikely. The only disease that has been eradicated by a vaccine is smallpox.

johnny reb

Fatigue and brain fog are the two biggest.

gumishu

Tetanus deaths have been practically eliminated in Poland except in people who have never been vaccinated against it (who are very old by now) - also there have been no polio cases in Poland for 40 years now - there are probably other examples but I refuse to research any further on the subject

Korvinus
3 Nov 2021  #8338

My opinion, based on anecdotal evidence, is that long covid is just another term for chronic fatigue syndrome. AKA they don't know whats wrong with you. If this happens as a result of or in conjunction with a suspected covid infection, they'll just call it long covid. In reality they don't know. It could be anything really. An untreated bacterial infection, a fungal infection. Who knows. Maybe a mix of histrionics and actual stress and trauma, which is normal when recovering from a viral pneumonia.

mafketis
3 Nov 2021  #8339

Again, in one study, they found that for over half of those claiming to suffer from 'long covid', there's no evidence they ever had 'short covid' that is there's no record of a positive test and they don't have antibodies...

A lot of 'long covid' is, I think, a combination of long recovery time (my worst flu took a couple of months to fully recover from) and generalized hypochondria and/or seeking attention....

gumishu
3 Nov 2021  #8340

My opinion, based on anecdotal evidence,

you are probably completely wrong - I have read doctors found people in their prime ending up with badly damaged lungs after fighting off covid (that was pre-vaccine) - and I don't mean all people - many young people cure completely from covid suffering from just anunusually bad cold (or flu)
