It doesn't fit their narrative so they ignore it. Look at Japan for example - they have the same amount of cases today when 70% of the population is vaxxed as early 2020 when there were no vaccines on the market yet. And even the 30% that isn't unvaxxed their total cases are in the low hundreds with a single death occuring daily or every other day. Plus, Japan is a very densely populated country.
It's a similar situation in sub-Saharan Africa - vaxx rates remain low as do covid cases.. Botswana - 20% of the people vaxxed yet they'll have caseloads in the low hundreds or even less, some days they don't report any new cases. In Congo, less than 1% is fully vaccinated and again cases are super low - having 300 new cases is considered a spike. This is a country with 90 million people and one of the poorest thus poor sanitation, medical care, etc... Somalia has under 4% of the population vaccinated... no new cases over the past few days and they peaked a few months ago with 260 cases out of 15 million people.
But of course that's never talked about...
