It doesn't fit their narrative so they ignore it. Look at Japan for example - they have the same amount of cases today when 70% of the population is vaxxed as early 2020 when there were no vaccines on the market yet. And even the 30% that isn't unvaxxed their total cases are in the low hundreds with a single death occuring daily or every other day. Plus, Japan is a very densely populated country.

It's a similar situation in sub-Saharan Africa - vaxx rates remain low as do covid cases.. Botswana - 20% of the people vaxxed yet they'll have caseloads in the low hundreds or even less, some days they don't report any new cases. In Congo, less than 1% is fully vaccinated and again cases are super low - having 300 new cases is considered a spike. This is a country with 90 million people and one of the poorest thus poor sanitation, medical care, etc... Somalia has under 4% of the population vaccinated... no new cases over the past few days and they peaked a few months ago with 260 cases out of 15 million people.

But of course that's never talked about...

I was the only one that brought this weirdness up here earlier.
There is some form of natural justice in the fact that the biggest as*holes - the Western "democracies" - suffered the same covid deaths rates as the more primitive countries like the Baltics. All that money, advanced medical care, lockdowns, and "awareness" didn't buy the US, Belgium, and Italy much.

My best explanation is that we don't inhale nature air. We inhale what some machines in the airtight building circulate through ducts full of crap that crawls with the things we don't want to see.

And meanwhile covid has barely touched Africa... There's no talk every minute of the day about masks, vaccines, vaccine mandates/passports, etc.

I found out today that some countries in Europe won't allow you to fly in if you're not vaxxed specifically Germany and Switzerland but I'm sure there's more (there is an exemption though for EU residents). I wonder if they scrutinize the migrants flooding in like they do people coming from the USA.

Thankfully, Poland isn't among them. They're actually quite lax in terms of people coming in but if you're not vaxxed you have to quarantine for 7 days... no big deal..

I agree with you on this....a friend recently travelled to France from Poland and at the airport the Polish security didn't have any scanners/failed to use their phones to scan the Covid QR code to check their status....all they did was to look at the date on the back of the paper certificate and waved my friend through.....whereas in France they had strict procedures using equipment to scan QR codes etc (the same procedure applies to entering restaurants etc)

If this is common practice at Polish airports then this is clearly a weak point and anyone could deceive them with fake certificates etc.....On their return my friend experienced the same lax treatment....not a great way to prevent the spreading of Covid.

Flying within the EU is pretty loose everywhere. Spain, Czech, Slovakia, all pretty loose with checking documents. If you got your jab in USA almost nothing they can do. Cant be scanned or uploaded anywhere for verification, same with jabs from Canada. Definitely not an air tight system.

Good Morning Britain, which often tries to set the news agenda, posted the poll which asked the public, "With Omicron cases doubling every two days, is it time to make vaccines mandatory ?"

The last screenshots Twitter users were able to obtain before the poll was wiped off showed 89% oppose mandatory vaccinations, with just 11% in favor after a total of over 42,000 votes.

There are supposedly no cases yet here in PL, however there obviously are some. The rate it spreads is a surprise however yes, the symptoms of this variant do seem mild.

If the symptoms are mild, why would anybody care how fast it spreads?

Isn't it obvious to you? It is to everybody else.

Viruses mutate. The more they spread, the more hosts there are for the virus. The more hosts, the more mutations appear. The more mutations, the greater the likelihood that one will be very far from mild.

Now stop asking pointless and stupid questions for the sake of it that you could have just googled.
