Coronavirus in Poland

Worry should be that people aren't following the simple social distancing, and cleanliness rules. If they are getting together in groups, of course its going to continue to spread. Staying inside and away from groups for a few weeks isn't that difficult unless you are an ignorant fool. Spring breakers in Florida are a great example. The USA saw its first confirmed case in January, and all they did was cut off China. A lot more could have been done the last three months. Poland saw its first case March 3, and the gates were closed soon after, rules became tighter, and people for the most part are following them. A lot of fear spreading through big cities and rightfully so because social distancing is more difficult, compounding the problem are people who simply refuse to follow simple guidelines, placing other people at risk.

Those are lefties who listen to total a-holes from Poland. Those a-holes are lying as usual, aiming at the gov. What a looser. What testing is being done elsewhere in Europe beside Germany? Negligible.

Not enough, though. The Minister of Culture has already said that they're planning to introduce new rules, partially because parks and especially shops like Castorama and Leroy Merlin are crowded. I wanted to buy some silicon sealant yesterday, and the car park in my local building supplies shop was full.

There are also issues in smaller villages/towns where shops often have a space outside for local drinkers to congregate - they're simply not obeying the rules. On the good side, I've seen a group of people today get told firmly and decisively that they were go home now or else.

Well it might have been full of other people buying silicon sealant.

Tightening it will not work - if the numbers are as low as the govt says then most people are not going to see the point and the govt does not have the means to enforce it. I could handle another 3-4 weeks of this but afterwards we need to get moving or there won't be an economy left.

If its not enough, then I am ok with stupid people getting sick. If you cant be responsible for your own life, then you dont deserve it. They can introduce more measures and nothing will change except a few more store closures and people losing jobs.

Its bad. Its very bad in some places. Like CMS said though, things will get going in a few more weeks. Governments wont allow economies to collapse. A few million lives is nothing when billions more depend on having a life and income. $hitty yes, but this is survival at all costs. The real question to be answered by governments around the world is who will do all the work when the poor and stupid are dead or ill?

Why ?

I import stuff from China and I will continue to do so - gives my customers a cheap and reliable option and if I don't do it then my competitors certainly will. I'm not sure any of the people I import from has anything to do with the Coronavirus.
