Coronavirus in Poland

Why do you think he said nobody in his office died after

Coz it is quite probable that nobody died. Do people fall down like flies around you in your area so that you are so surprised at the dentist`s? Why do you always expect the worst? Try to be more optimistic. It is obvious you haven`t read Great Expectations by Dickens.

Wait just a minute...No masks, six inches, 8 hours a day, no lockdowns and nobody dies in the damn office???

nobody dies in the damn office

What is the covid death rate per capita in the US? Tell us how many are employed in the office?

Novichok
5 Feb 2022  #9904

About 20 total - dentists and assistants. I asked if he heard about even one dentist dying from covid. Nope.
Just for you, I will make some calls on Monday.

About 20 total - dentists and assistants.

I also asked you about death toll per capita - in your state of Illinois it is 265 per 100.000 right now. It means that 20 employees are too few to contribute to even one full death - merely a half death emerges from the basic calculation. :):) And you surely understand that one can`t be half dead, half alive unless you believe in Haitian zombies.:):):)

Do you grasp it now??? :):):)

Do you grasp it now??? :):):)

I also grasp the fact that dentists are not suicidal idiots and that they know the statistics and the risks better than you do. In their opinion, I, from six inches, unmasked, with no assurances that I was even vaccinated (nobody asked me if I have been vaccinated) with my mouth wide open, coughing and spitting, and the drill water coming out my mouth as spay posed no risk to them.

But, in the meantime, every restaurant here has a sign: Masks and proof of vaccination required. Just to walk in and take that fu*cking mask off for the rest of the stay.

My post is meant to show that there are two worlds out there: covid Gestapo plus obedient morons and the world of reason. Like those dentists.

pawian

that there are two worlds out there:

Natural. It has always been so since apes came down from trees and turned into self-conscious human beings - our world and the outer world.

Novichok
5 Feb 2022  #9908

Natural.

No. Being covid Gestapo in a "democracy" like Australia and obedient idiots are not natural. Those are two different mental disorders.

Today's numbers (along with occasional helpful context)

29.6 % positive results out of 117,100 tests... slightly higher percentage but fewer tests...

The 7 day moving average of cases peaked on February 02 and has started to decline... how long will this last?

Maybe lower vaccination rates are a blessing in disguise? There's some evidence that omicron... flourishes more easily in the vaccinated... weird? what do you expect from a lab-grown virus and a crappy, not-very-good therapeutic masquerading as a vaccine....

hospitalizations -24 to 17,661 .... still not sure on the percentages of 'admitted due to covid' vs 'tested positive after being admitted for something else'... that would be helpful to know.... so of course there's no information available...

ICU: +10 to 1115

deaths: 19 (15 with comorbidities)

daily deaths (7 day moving average): +6 to 206

Today's numbers (along with occasional helpful context)

Weirdness today as the number of new infections is given differently in two different places in the announcements today... I'll go with the higher here so that I can't be accused of downplaying the terrible seriousness yada yada yada

29.5 % positive results out of 82,800 tests...

26.0 % positive results out of 138,500 tests... big fall in positive percentages! when you throw in test avoidance

The 7 day moving average of cases peaked on February 02 and has been in decline since then.... for how long?

NEW NUMBER: 3974 reinfections! yeah!

When the kids have more brains...it's scary...From dailymail.com:

School mask revolt grows: Chicago pupils stage a walk-out but NY is expected to EXTEND its mask mandate as NJ and Delaware drop theirs

It's actually very simple. When A sees B without a mask and A is scared out of his wits, A can put on two masks, get the same protection from B's deadly fumes, and fu*ck off of B.

This is "science" by Novichok, the forum chief virologist.

Children, this is going to be about how to handle hot potatoes...From dailymail.com:

Biden v the blue states: Psaki says it is up to school districts to decide mask mandates and there are leaders STOPPING them after four Democrat governors dropped classroom rules

When a potato gets too hot to the idiot in the WH, the potato is passed on to some parasitic slime aka school district boards, but not, God forbid, to the parents since those people cannot ever be trusted with deciding what's good for their kids. Only the government can do it correctly and efficiently.

That should be no problem since every school board in America, including the districts where the teachers themselves are illiterate, has a virologist Ph.D. and the labs to perform all the mask tests needed to make informed, science-based mask policy decisions.

Johnson & Johnson quietly shut down production of its COVID-19 vaccines recently.
J&J have reportedly been using the facility to develop an experimental vaccine not related to Covid.
I wonder what they know that we don't know.........yet.

Thats an interesting piece of news. Maybe they know that people are not going to keep this up for much longer and its time to take the money off the table and switch gears for the next money maker.

hospitalizations -62 to 18,952 small drop, a blip? or something else?

.... still not sure on the percentages of 'admitted due to covid' vs 'tested positive after being admitted for something else'... that would be helpful to know.... so of course there's no information available...

Yesterday, I went to see a doctor. As soon as I entered, I was told to put two masks on, not just one. So I decided to run an experiment. I held the masks against my face to prevent leaks and guess what...I almost suffocated. Such is the idiocy of masks and the morons who enforce mask rules.

Your mask jokes are as repetitive as a bad Gogol farce. I actually agree with you but can't you change the record on your scratchy Soviet gramophone ?

Hmmm....just read on twitter (without any source) that in Germany about 0,15% of the Covid-19 infected died.....

As bad that is for these affected families for the whole country that is a joke! For such non-lethality to more or less lockdown a whole people including destroying big parts of the economy for two years...that is unbelievable...if that number is true!

And even now people still talk about a compulsory vaccination, wantonly without need breaking our basic law...CRAZY!

Tacitus

More than 100k people died, a few numbers that time who suffer from long Covid, all of that despite the restrictions we took and you think those measures were unnecessary? Our health care system was at the brink a few months ago.

PolAmKrakow
10 Feb 2022  #9923

@Tacitus
Then that is the governments fault! Not peoples fault. Maybe the government should be better prepared instead of taking such large salaries and spending money on immigration BS? Maybe the blame should be placed where it belongs, and the responsibility to fix things where it belongs, on government, not on people who are trying to make a living! For every old persons life that was spared, at least one family was ruined financially, or one person committed suicide, or is now suffering from a mental disorder. But hey, lets save all the 80 yr olds we can so they can vote for an extra pension payment.

Our health care system was at the brink a few months ago.

You know the name of the politician who only a few years back was all for closure of hospitals? We had "to many"....that was to expensive he said.....yeah exactly, you know him...one Karl Lauterbach!

SPD-Gesundheitsexperte Lauterbach: Wir haben zu viele Krankenhäuser

More than 100k people died, a few numbers that time who suffer from long Covid,

And who knows if your numbers are correct, right Tacitus?

Now that we have learned that most infected are not because of Corona in the hospital but because of other ailments and problems......but they had been all counted only as infected...so the statistics had been screwed!

Official data can't be trusted anymore....

Karl Lauterbach is probably the worst health minister Germany has ever had....

Yeah....so true...a great example why this pandemia management in Germany is so unbearable bad! With such numbnuts in power....

I can't respect them and for sure don't listen to them!

10 Feb 2022  #9929

all of that despite the restrictions we took and you think those measures were unnecessary?

Yes. "Despite" means that those restrictions didn't work. You just admitted it. But they sure made our lives miserable.

Tacitus
10 Feb 2022  #9930

who only a few years back was all for closure of hospitals?

Have you read the arguments he cited? The problem is that we have many small hospitals that are ill equipped to deal with emergencies, even now we have some that can not treat Covid patients and that is in general better to have specialized hospitals. It is statistically proven that the outcome for complicated surgeries is better in bigger, specialized hospitals than in smaller ones that treat a lot of different issues. A doctor who does bypass surgeries 300 times a year is going to be better at it than one who does it 30 times. Another problem are not necessarily hospital beds, the problem is the lack of professionals.

restrictions didn't work.

They worked as intented. They kept the number of infections at a level that assured that our health system did not collapse.
