There seems to be some misunderstanding about the meaning of the term "liberal"!

First off, "republican" once had a vastly different meaning from what it has become these days. Lincoln, as every informed person knows, was a Republican, not a Democrat, yet clearly liberal in his policies towards black Americans, although a pure pragmatist with little love lost for them either:-)

For whatever reason, liberalism has long been unfairly associated with some of the most egregious excesses of our time, from the widespread drug culture of the '60's, to abortion free-for-alls from Roe v. Wade on down, none of which equates being a liberal with being an irresponsible perv, red diaper dope baby or what have you.

Being a "liberal" simply means to believe in "liberty" for all people, yet this initial meaning has been irretrievably corrupted so that it's no longer recognizable.

These are 5 vacancies that will likely come up over the next 4-8 years.
The next President will have the power to potentially create a 7-2 Supreme Court skewed in their ideology.
Think about that... 7-2.
If President Trump appoints 5 young justices, it will guarantee control of the Supreme Court for an entire generation.
And 7-2 decisions will hold up much more over time than 5-4 decisions which are seemed to be lacking in mandate.

If this takes place my prayers will be answered and I could give a damn who becomes President of the United States the rest of my life.
