Poland under pressure of EU to accept more asylum seeking refugees

Avalon

Has anyone else noticed how the media have gone very silent over the migrant topic. According to leaked documents, German government departments have now been told to expect up to 1.5 million people by the end of the year. At present, some 10-12,000 people are arriving daily and there is a worry about providing food and accommodation for these people.

President Erdogan of Turkey is meeting with EU leaders to discuss how the flow of people through Turkey can be restricted, many people are wondering what favours he will ask for, to facilitate this help, possibly easier access to Europe for the Turkish people, relaxation of visa requirements, ability work in EU countries.

The EU has also told Turkey that it will accept another 500,000 migrants to relieve pressure on the existing camps there.
I looks like the quotas to be distributed will be higher than we have previously been told.
Is this why you joined the EU? Were you ever told that this could happen to your country? How will this affect the politics of Poland?

Anyone heard whether a stream of refugees/migrants has begun appearing in Poland via Romania/Ukraine? I heard quite a few are making it to Sweden via Russia.

Some may benefit from reading personal stories, so "those people" are not just inconvenient numbers:

Seems the news media has been ordered to ignore this problem as of late or
has the Muslim refugee invasion been put on hold temporarily.

Although I am now too busy to be interested in news, it looks to me that first refugeees (in Poland since POLISH forums) won't arrive, if they ever do, before very long time.

So you are saying that not knowing and having a little more than slight regard to the truth you hesitate to articulate on subjects dubious to your mental facilities on any matters regarding the issue as fact but more of a personal opinion on the matter as busy as you are.

That is a typical response to, "we'll just let a few in Poland hopefully unnoticed" until we get a foot in the door.

For the little I know (am at home sick today), the EU mean to help Turkey to cope with refugees. Since you are in the US, have no connections with Poland and with EU, why should you care?

So with the EU supposedly helping Turkey.....has that stopped the flow of the Muslim invaders ?
I did see in the media where one of them in Turkey blew up a bunch of people protesting.
The reason I care is because the Christians are under attack by them and we have to stop them everywhere we can.
When you low information "Progressive Liberals" come on here pretending that they are going to be an asset to Europe it is
my duty as a Politically incorrect from ancestry of Poland to enlighten Poland to what these people's true motive is and that
is to convert the world to Islam at any cost and any means.
Like Pol3 stated:
Evil triumphs when decent men are silent or turn a blind eye!
Poland needs to have all the education they can to learn the true motives behind this planned invasion.
You being from France should know it is already to late to stop them there and probably is one of the reasons you are now

living in untainted Poland.
There are anti protests going on all over Poland that are not making the liberal media for some strange reason.
I hope I answered your question and that you get feeling better.
(Maybe try closing your window that you sleep with open, cold weather has arrived)

@Johnny: don't make up people's life. Living in multicultural societies for me is completely natural and I really miss that and if I happen to live in Poland, it is only because my (late) husband was Polish and now am too old to start new life elsewhere (otherwise I would not be here ;))

PS: I close my windows when I go to sleeep ;)

Polonius3

for me is completely natural

Precisely! You are entitled to your subjective opinion as are those who feel best amongst their own kind. In Poland most people feel that way. Seeing what's happening in other countires such as Sweden, the UK, France and Germany only convinces them that multi-culti is fraught with serious defects and problems.

Yes!! Poles are flooding into them.

Poles are flooding into them

No, Poles see what the refugee invasion is doing to other countries and don't want the same fate to visit Poland.

milky
16 Oct 2015  #1363

No,

So! they are not flooding into these countries?

Polonius3
16 Oct 2015  #1364

Poles are not! Th only Polish refugees are those fleeing Donbas and adjacent areas of Ukraine as well as the wastelands of Kazakhstan.

Germany Approves Laws to Limit Migrants

"Lower house of parliament in Berlin votes for measures to limit record influx of migrants"

"The measures still require approval of the upper house of parliament, representing the country's 16 states. The vote is scheduled for Friday."

Good news for racists! :)

Why this odd obsession with sending non-Westerners to Poland where they will suffer (according to you) and they will lower living standards for everyday Poles.

You seem so hostile to anyone who isn't you......

InPolska
17 Oct 2015  #1370

Of course, they will have it rough in Poland but since Poland gets hundreds of billions of euros from the EU, it is NORMAL that Poland shares the European burden and hence yes, "good news for racists".

Nevertheless, they won't stay long in Poland, anyway! ;)

PS: I am not "hostile to anybody" but am just ****** at countries like Poland who get so much money from the EU but don't want to play fair. EU is not a restaurant or a supermarket. When joining, the whole deal shall be accepted. Poland and other similar countries should be thankful to EU and they are not, that's what ****** me off.

Poland shares the European burden

German burden. Germany caused the current crisis all on its own with out a shred of input from or consultation with any other EU member.

Since when does Angela Merkel = EU

InPolska
17 Oct 2015  #1372

@Maf: unfortunately EU = Merkel and Merkel = EU. When Merkel appointed Tusk, Poland did not disagree ;). Like said, Poland lives off EU's subsidies so Poland has to play fair.

Of course, Merkel has made a HUGE mistake but now ALL the other 27 members are stuck.

Why should Poland get away with murder?

Frau Merkel
17 Oct 2015  #1373

Crikey, you Poles want to look at your selfs before you go calling other people on integration. You come to the UK just like they do and because you are white you think you have more right or are better some how. Well your not, in the UK you are just as guilty as those others of non integration.

Poland actually is about to get what we have had from you, mass immigration, but it gets worse. Germany is your neighbour and millions on millions of Muslims are going to live there and probably stretch out to Poland, making cities their own.

Its OK though, immigrants are hard workers and will work much harder than you lazy racist xenophobic Poles.

Karma......:-)

@Frau Merkel: Willkommen! :)

@Maf: I'm just p... off by Poland "daj mi" attitude. Poor little Greece gets 6,000 migrants PER DAY and Poland can't even accommodate 1,900 migrants over a period of 2 years???!!!! Is it some sort of a "joke"? Of course, all migrants should be sent to Germany but IF a EU matter, ALL 28 members should pitch in. As a Western European, I'm fed up to have my people give fortunes to Poland, which does not give a sh..t about EU. In my personal culture, it's called "ingratitude"

As a Western European, I'm fed up to have my people give fortunes to Poland

In other words, you're a bigot. Nice of you to admit it.

Frau Merkel
17 Oct 2015  #1377

Danke fur Willkommen :-)

All your lovely Polska infrastructure has been upgraded by those lovely tax payers of Europe, many Muslims, and now you shall have the other side of the Euro.

You've had the good, now its time for the flip side, Poland to welcome migrants. Maybe they will start businesses and kick start the Polish economy and do it good.

Put your mono culture sentiments away and welcome them with open arms.

Put your mono culture sentiments away and welcome them with open arms.

You are nuttier then a fruitcake.

Racism comes from ignorance and also low self esteem.

No "Racist" comes from Progressive Liberals used in a condescending manner to belittle Common Sense.
You use it constantly.
Go look at the statistics of murder, rapes, drug related crime, abortion, welfare or just about anything society has to pay for.
Guess what girl, these are the people we are referring to, Blacks, Latino's, Muslim that are on the top of that list by far.

You insist on using the word "racist" which should be used to describe them since they are the ones who burden society.
Poland has enough problems without adding Muslim refugees to make another one.

Why should Poland get away with murder?

Because when Poland joined the E.U. they agreed to be part of a "UNION" which means everyone has a say not just one

country or it's not a Union which has happened.
Poland refuses to sell their soul to Germany just to be "politically correct".
The Polish people are standing united among themselves and have made it very clear that they do not want these refugees
despite what a few here are trying to portray.
Damn I love Poland for standing strong and being their own person.

In other words, you're a bigot. Nice of you to admit it.

Of course she is and not only a bigot but a true racists.
Society has had enough of this hog wash liberalism being jammed down our throats and finally have started standing our ground.
If you want to label me a racist for telling you to get your smelly drug infested neighborhood's out of my county or a racists because

you are not going to tell me that I can't pray to my God in a public school or tell me that abortion is not cold blooded murder then I am

very proud to be a racist.
Take your little trump words and shove them.

Germany caused the current crisis all on its own with out a shred of input from or consultation with any other EU member.

Of course. If Poland said to the Ukrainians (without consulting Ms Merkel): "Come to Poland as many as you could", the Bundeskanzlerin Merkel would be the first to oppose the move: "No, and never, never, never, never, Poland is in the Schengen zone, the Ukrainians can't come without our consent".

And InPolska would be the first to support Ms Merkel on that.

Kind of like world wide Muslims just aren't happy or at peace no matter what country they are in.
Poland seems like the only country in the EU that has a backbone to stand up to this invasion of Muslims refugees.
The people of Poland are saying flat out; "we do not want you as we see all the trouble that you are causing around the world."

Now the Muslims are calling for a holy war among themselves.
One may start to think that total extermination is the only answer.

CAIRO - The Shiite leaders of Iran and the Sunni rulers of Saudi Arabia traded insults over the deaths of hundreds of Iranian pilgrims near Mecca. The government of Bahrain, long criticized for repressing the country's Shiite majority, expelled the Iranian ambassador, after accusing Iran of shipping arms to Bahrain and trying to foment "sectarian strife."

And a group of hard-line Sunni clerics in Saudi Arabia, fired up by Russia's intervention in Syria, issued a scathing sectarian call for holy war.
