how would the Muslim father and brothers react if his daughter came home with her new Christian or ''wrong'' type of Muslim boyfriend she met at uni, (honour killings spring to mind)

We all know all of this is about "No muslims must be allowed to settle in Poland.."

They are already here, as are jews, mormons, Jehovahs witnesses, seventh day adventists.... Only the small minded really give one. But of course, muslims are coloured!! And can be identified as different.

Mmmm. "Honour killings" are news because they are by nature divisive. The (white) woman who kills her husband is news for a day, and locally, unless there is sexual tittle-tattle for the tabloids.

How many muslims and christians happily marry?

Do you want the statistics of inter-faith marriages in the UK by Pie graph by country or bar graph, or Excel? I couldn't care less and neither could they. They are busy living their lives, and the media blow it all out of proportion.

Of course people can live together. but they have to learn how to do it. The UK and the US are a good example. The French situation with their huge muslim population is a relatively recent phenomena and will take longer for integration, as with the Dutch.

3 days ago my wife was walking around with a headscarf (it was raining). She is very dark and Syrian looking..... aka beautiful.
The looks of fear on people's faces were very amusing.

Dougpol1, I think the question should be, how many Muslims and Christians happily marry each other, very few I suspect. Because of the Muslim racism and bigotry towards relationships with people outside of their faith, I just think that would be another reason for any refugees that do come and stay in Poland for them to become isolated and not integrate with Polish society.

Muslims are ''coloured'' you mean Red, Blue or Green? what about the white ones, how would anybody know.

Regarding '' no Muslims must be allowed to settle in Poland'' firstly, I never said that and secondly, let them come and set your clock to see how long before the 1st one leaves.

Thinking about it, I think the answer to a multicultural society in Poland has been staring us in the face here on PF, how many posts do we see with the same question, ''I am from X, Y or Z, where is the community, where do they live in A, B or C. We are all guilty in one way or another of wanting to live in places where we feel safe and comfortable.

@Doupol: their problem is ignorance. They cannot understand that Muslims are not necessarily islamists. That's the reason why I meant to write about my visit to the embassy today where I met a young Algerian Muslim whose 2 (also Muslim) friends were killed by terrorists last Friday at Bataclan Theater. They are too stupid to realize that around let's say 98% of Muslims living in W.Europe and similar countries are decent and respectful citizens.

According to the Algerian I met today, the Algerian government considers there are some 0.03% islamists in the whole Algerian population. In Europe, it is of course about the same and you know it. The proof, for instance, in France, nobody accuses the Muslims for the attacks but they accuse the Islamists. Even Marine Le Pen, again yesterday and today made it clear but in France and more generally in Western Europe, people are intelligent enough to understand.

As to interfaith marriages or couples, I've met tons of them and in our countries it's no big deal. In France there are numerous catholic-muslim or catholic-jewish or jewish-muslim or atheist-whatever faith couples. They of course work out because people are secular.

Don't waste your time to talk to narrow minded tabloid readers!:)

We are all guilty in one way or another of wanting to live in places where we feel safe and comfortable.

That's why I like Three City Kenny. There are a lot of Chinese and other nationalities here, and they are happy smiling faces which don't do any harm at all.

But then Three City is certainly not atypical of Poland, being far richer than most places.

There is certainly a place for refugees here. People would have no problem with them.

I think It's more likely that 99.99% of Muslims (like Christians) are good and honest people, I know many that I consider good friends, It's the 0.01% that, A) have to be dealt with and B) do all the all the damage. What I along with many others want is to stop the 0.01% coming to Poland.

I find it strange inpolska that in another thread you thanked me and others for our kind words of condolence regarding the Paris attacks, hmmmm.

I think It's more likely that 99.99% of Muslims (like Christians) are good and honest people,

I don't see it... in the UK we have no problem with Christians, Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists, Chinese etc etc

Wherever we get Muslims in high numbers though, there are problems.

15 Nov 2015  #1658

@Kenny! I don't know whether it's 99.99% but I'm sure it's at least 98%. Sorry, I don't remember having thanked you but you know since last Friday night, I've been traumatized... However, I don't need to write lists, people know whether I include them in the fascist semi literate tabloid readers who vomit their ignorance and their hatred in all of their messages.

As said, I don't know whether it's 99.99% but I have spent close to 40 years in France during which years I have of course dealt with all kinds of people, nationalities, races, colors, religions or lack hereof, and I have had no bad experience with people because they were different from me... I've known quite a few Muslims and never any problem. I'm not an exception. Most people are alright....

@Billy; they are a problem when very deep in their religion and it could be the way in GB because GB is not a secular country (religion in school and all the crap). In France, most are secular and sometimes even atheist so situation may be different from GB. However, I'm sure that in GB there are also very decent Muslims.

Reading some of these comments is making my head shake. For one, I am so happy we as a Polish nation are standing up to the UE and not taking in anymore Refugees or should we simply call them young men. Who are not form Syria and will only use Poland if they have to as a stepping stone.

I am Polish born, and very proud of our history. We have been through hell and back and to hell again throughout the centuries. Fighting for our land, fighting to keep Poland polish. Merkel thinks that because she allows a free for all in her country everyone needs to follow suit, no thank you. We see what is happening in France, Britian and Sweden. Why wouldnt we want to have Mosques set up in our country and then watch our country go to ****. Not in my Poland!

And Dougpol - I dont give a rats ass if your parents took in 2 polish brothers, good for you. Poland need to take care of their own people, who are suffering, who have no jobs who are sick and dying. Germany is obviously far better off than us and they can take them all. Open up 1000 more kebab shops and enjoy the massacres that are going to take place there. What happened in France is just the beginning get ready for more and more chaos to erupt. Merkel will eat her words of tolerance. I am sure her wording of tolerance would of been different if one of the terrorists would of entered the stadium and parked himself beside hundreds of German fans.

Reading your comments is making my head shake. Your ancestors would be ashamed of you. How do I know? I grew up with a Polish "uncle" and he would take me down the Polish club in Nottingham, and those people had class. Something that the people with selfish values like yourself will never have.

You are wrong, and I pity you.

Reading some of these comments is making my head shake.

Many here are not Polish. I find there are two or three camps on here:
a)Foreigners who live in Poland, most of them are very socially leftist. They dont bother to learn the language or accept how Poles think. They would literally change the Polish nation if they could, whether through politics or mass immigration.

b)Polish diaspora- some know Polish, others dont, but they are often supportive of governments like PIS.
c)Small amount of Poles living in Poland.

Western Europeans have no clue what suffering is. (At least compared to what Eastern and Central Europe went through).
Poles were invaded countless times and we dont want immigrants to invade us again (especially those who dont adapt to Polish culture).
In my opinion many (not all) Western Europeans have become mentally sissified, feminized, and weak. They want to turn the other cheek at every chance they get, thats why the accept so many "refugees". Many of their leaders are godless, they love to spoil society and ponder to tiny minority (immigrants, LBGT weirdos, etc) instead of serving the majority of normal people.

Many educated Poles, want to be free and independant. Not being dictated by larger powers like Russian, US, and EU dictatorship. Merkel has gone insane and must be removed. The same with Hollande.

RIP Multiculturalism?

Attackers were born and raised French. In USA the rioters/protesters in Missouri were born and raised American.

Is Eastern Europe feeling a sense of "I told you so" right now? Also let me post this little gem

I speak Polish - don't write it though..... PM for skype chat :)

Now why would one "accept" lowlife behaviour? Your fore-fathers had class and were gentlemen. Your generation needs to learn some manners.

PS My mother was from Manchester. Her street was flattened in 1940 by bombs. Her first fiancee was killed. Her second fiancee was killed in North Africa. She met my dad in 1952.

She never mentioned her past. Ever. I found out about her history after her death. Now, that is class. Poles think they are the only people who suffered . Get over it. You weren't there I think.

Thank you @Whocares This is exactly it, I dont give a **** if people are upset at us as Polish people. We have the right to not take in people that will threaten our culture, our way of life. I dont want Saudia Arabia building us free Mosques for people who wouldnt give two ****s about our beliefs and values.

Nobody can pressure us and we will stand strong just like Hungary and close our borders. France chaos was a matter of time, I am shocked nothing has happened in Germany, but it will and it will be ugly. Finally, I am sure all the rapes that are occurring around the camps are being kept hush hush in the name of Tolerance.

Dougpol have you been to Poland lately? I am guessing you havent, my family comes from nothing but hard working farmers. And, what you want us to bring in refugees who by the looks of it arent even real refugees but people looking for a handout.

We did our part saving Europe, read up Jan III Sobieski and then saving Jews in WW2. We dont have to do anyone else any more favors. USA and Russia who are bombing Syria can take all the refugees. Mind as well take all of Africas, and dont forget the Pakistanias and so on...

@Dougpol - by learning manners you mean giving into Merkel and her demands. Wake up! Germany is not going to tell us what to do.

Mmmm.....

my family comes from nothing but hard working farmers

I can respect that. Totally.

And, what you want us to bring in refugees who by the looks of it arent even real refugees but people looking for a handout.

But that's not true, is it? You are listening to lying ****.

Why did Poles flee, when they had a wonderful world, the farm, the beautiful Polish city? Because they could DIE if they stayed. The vast majority of refugees have to run. You should be ashamed of your stupidity in believing the right wing lies. These people would stay at home and live their lives if only they could. Go and ask them why they left the war zones. It is an injustice on the refugee, the Syrian population, the Eritrean, the Afghan, to smear them all like this. They are human too. They have fields, orchards, children, pets, to hold onto, etc etc etc etc to go back to, if that still exists ad finitum just like your forefathers. But you prefer this racist jargon. And it is indefensible, and responsible people realise that.

.

But you wont. You only want to live in your closed world, listening to your brainwashing politicians, who tell you what you want to hear, because they know they have you in the palm of their little sweaty hand.

It would be amusing if it wasn't so dangerous. Europe has seen this racist nonsense so many times before.

I am not blind and I am not stupid. I can see what happening and my feelings arent going to be hurt if Poland wont do what they are required to do by big bad EU. Tell me why these refugees aren't stopping and making a new life in Turkey, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Armenia, Georgia or even Saudia Arabia.

These locations are much more closer, not only in faith but in language and surely the Religion of Peace would welcome them with open arms right?!! But no, they want to travel thousands of miles so that they get the best hand out in Sweden and Germany. One story I want to share with you, a Polish priest took in a Syrian family, fed them gave them a place to stay. The next morning they were gone onto bigger and better things aka Germany.

Too many people have clouded views because they feel sorry for these people, I dont I see the pictures, the pictures of men kicking water away, being ungrateful about the food they get. Or trashing the places they get to live.

95 percent of my family still lives in Poland. I visit Poland frequently and contribute to the economy thanks!

I am not going to watch the country that raised me blow up over a bunch of peer pressure bullsht, when I return with my children I want them to see our beautiful land, our beautiful people, our culture and language.

Haha relax. Everything you have posted was already discussed and mostly agreed upon, in this thread.

In my life-time nothing drastic will occur in Poland unless we change to the EU currency. Culturally Polska is too homogenous, religious and ultimately Cold War hardened to give in. Race and Religion will over-shadow $$$

i will tell you with what we deal here. Let us no make mistake. Those who pressure Poland and not only Poland are nobody else but the western European magnates. Rich magnates that have power to shape the world and are willing to do that. To shape and re-shape the world as it suits them. Their hearts are dark. Those are people full of evil that lurk in any of us, but most of us have that wall of conscience between acts of good and evil. See, that wall crumbled in them, they missing it. So, they have potential to commit the most heinous acts and do it with a smile on their faces, while they looking on TV, on us infidels, victims of their schemes. For them there is no concept of evil, just results.

That is why i deeply admire to the Polish president Duda. One needs to be brave to stood to the evil and speak loudly about Intermarium, when faces monsters without shame.

I hope you are not referring to "WE" as being Polish when you being a foreigner that you are to Poland !
I think after the latest terrorist attack that it has taken a lot of pressure off Poland from taking in Muslim refugees.
Muslim refugees are now considered a high risk to national security of all countries in the E.U.

Since 11.13 at 21:00 (our time) a lot of things have and shall change around the world.... and nobody (including me) can function like they could have functioned till 20:59 on 11.13. Right now, French police about to give assault to a Paris flat where ("Belgian" born but never mind since only "birth accident", these rats have no nationality, other than of ignorance and of hatred) "brain" of the attacks has hidden (live report on French tv). This is an INTERNATIONAL problem and the whole western world is concerned (last night's Germany-Holland football game scheduled in Hannover got cancelled due to bomb alert, Merkel was to attend, great she got scarred!!! ) and that's why the whole planet has shown their compassion and solidarity to France.

Th West has been most naive (one Polish woman told me on Monday night, "we all needed such a tragedy in order to open our eyes"). Europe because of Schengen allows anyone to come and go. A (Polish) client of mine was in Lille (near Belgian border last week and returned to Poland only Friday night). He travelled each way Warsaw-Zurich, Zurich-Paris (Swissair), Paris-Lille (Air France) and NOT a single control. As he left Paris last Friday at 20 so one hour before the attacks, he obviously took his Zurich-Warsaw flight after the attacks and at the time the whole world knew about it and NO control. Another (Polish) client told me that she goes often to Rome where her sister-in-law lives and NEVER any control - terrorists could obviouslyf have Vatican among their targets.

As to refugees, I don't believe any EU country will take them in, not even Merkel (since last Friday, it looks like she has grown older by 10 years) because it is too risky. Last summer (so people should remember ;)) islamists had warned that they would send in terrorists but our "thinking heads", Merkel, Junker, Tusk and other self claimed ccommissionners did not want to believe it. Of course, the huge majority of refugees are decent people and terrorists or potential terrorists are a tiny tiny minority, but if even only 0.5% among them, it is enough to do what they did in Paris several times all around Europe (+ other places like in the US....). As of now, they don't know how many terrorists were in Paris last Friday for sure but right now they think no more than 8 or 9 so no need to have millions of terrorists to blow up a place. NOW, EU tells us that controls canNOT be made properly ;). One guy had his fingerprints taken on October 3 by EU workers on Leros Island in Greece and on Friday 11.13 he blew him up in front of Stade de France, over 2,000 km away (SAME fingerprints). How can one think that it's a mere .... coincidence?????? I see the "ambiance" right now in France (all over western Europe, it may not be very different) and obviously there everybody wants borders closed and no refugees. Nobody is stupid enough to risk their lives.

PS: Re Belgium (I love Belgians who are awfully nice and make the best fries in the world), it is "funny" to realize that within max 30 minutes from the EU buildings, the terrorists do their business as their everyday job including smuggling war weapons from former Yugoslavia (Molenbeek is separed by a small canal to Centrum and Brussels is anyway a small town) ;). It shows once more our "elite"'s stupidity....

PPS: I respect the victims and their family so I don't want to vomit my hatred towards X, Y and Z like PF's rednecks like to do but nevertheless, I consider that Merkel, Junker, Tusk and consorts have blood on their hands and if they were a tiny bit decent, they would resign (they won't also because the paycheck (paid by EU taxpayers) is so nice..)- their stupidity has killed (they and their families are safe but the "small guy" and his family are not and they don't want to take risk (normal...)

Konieć!

PPS: just heard on TV, small kids and women among refugees are used by terrorists to carry bombs into EU because kids and women won't be checked as much as men could be (but they are not anyway)... If so (terrorists are so sick that I wouldn't be suprised if they dit), vielen Dank, Frau Merkel!

it is "funny" to realize that within max 30 minutes from the EU buildings, the terrorists do their business

This is a perfect example of just how dysfunctional the technocrats in the EU are. Preaching to other countries on how to behave and what their internal political policies should be while they're ignorant of what's going on in (literally!) their own back yard.

It also illustrates how removed the EU is from what happens on the ground. As I've said before, they assume that if something doesn't affect them then it's not affecting anyone else.....

I've developed a pain in my neck from shaking my head so much after reading your posts.

Let's begin.....

"Mmmm. "Honour killings" are news because they are by nature divisive. The (white) woman who kills her husband is news for a day, and locally, unless there is sexual tittle-tattle for the tabloids."

The white woman who kills her husband does so in self defence in most cases and without checking any data I believe the number of white women who kill their husbands is significantly lower than the number of Muslim men who kill their wives

. "How many muslims and christians happily marry?"

Good question and yes, I actually would like to see the stats of inter faith marriage between Muslims and Christians in the UK. I think you are showing some naivity in asking the wrong question. A more illuminating question would be "what ratio of muslims marrying Christians are men to women i.e how many muslim men marry Christian women as opposed to how many Christian men marry muslim women ? A very important follow up question is "how many Christian women after marrying a muslim man actually remain Christian and how many convert to Islam ?

Of course people can live together. but they have to learn how to do it. The UK and the US are a good examples

Wrong again. Physically living together without integration is not an achievement. Muslim ghettoes in the UK are a testament that integration has a long way to go in the UK.

There are strong reasons why Poland is right to be hesitant (even reluctant) to invite Muslims who may or may nor be refugees into their country

PF's rednecks

Methinks you are talking about yourself pal:)

What a long post, though extremely well-written and intelligent, I'll give you that. Of course the content itself is not intelligent, but you certainly developed your (xenophobic and non-humanistic) premise - that the refugees are not deserving of our help, because we really need to be thinking only of ourselves.

I prefer the approach of the president of the United States, a statesman and an internationalist, who stated that we should not be blaming the huge majority, the true refugees. But I wont waste my time on the likes of you - one amongst many, who are bitter and twisted; and who clearly was never taught respect by his parents, to help others less fortunate than himself.

Ah - I see - that is you InPolska...this rates as one of your silly (and offensive) posts here. Are you feeling the strain this morning? Of course because of your nationality I will bow to your right to say what the hell you like - it's your city, your people.

But I for one disagree vehemently with almost everything you wrote there.

Physically living together

Well, that is funny Spiritus.

I had TWO friends; good friends. At college. We hung out a lot. We gambled. They drank orange juice while I necked the beer. They stood back when I made a fool of myself approaching some girl. We played table football (when Britain had the BEST table football equipment in the world bar non - hand built in Brighouse in Yorkshire) Those guys were **** hot at table football and we laughed all of the time.

Now - both of them were Muslim. And Asian. I was Protestant. Did it ever come up? Did it ****.

I met Khan 5 years later walking in the centre of Nottingham. He introduced me to his wife. Lovely girl. Nottingham lass. And his two beautiful children. All white. Khan was from Afghanistan - and worth ten of you *******.

And his and my mate whose name escapes me was from Pakistan, and married happily too. A catholic girl.

SO. Two friends. Two inter-faith marriages. Do the maths. Of course it is hardly a case study, as both were clever lads, albeit wasters like myself at that time :) There might be a lot of indoctrinated, less intelligent, people who would let religion or faith get in the way of happiness, but I wouldn't know people like that....

Please try to focus on Poland in this thread
