Changing fhe topic again i see... earlier you were saying how red states are doing sooooo poorly.. Now you're changing theyre doing well but only because they destroy the environment.
Boo hoo pollution... youre ruining the environment just by typing on your pc or phone on pf. Where do you think the plastic on your devices comes from? Where do you think the energy used to power your home so you can charge your phone or laptop comes from? Where do you think the wood on your floor, desk, and the framing in the walls comes from? How about the silicone and coltan used for chips and processors? You know some little african kid from the Congo had to dig out coltan just so you could get on pf. So please spare me the hypocrisy. Once you live in a cabin in the woods and everything you use is sustainably sourced then you can cry about the environment and pollution. So say goodbye to all your electronics. Till then, thank the little congolese kid who gets paid a buck or two a day to dig and then seperate coltan by hand. And while your at it thank the scruffy guys working in freezing temperatures in North Dakota pumping gas and oil so you can have it nice and toasty in your house and drive your car around.
And fyi i worked as a commodity broker. I held a small stake in oil fields in Texas and Oklahoma when oil was $90 $100 plus a barrell. Oil companies break even when oil is $40 a barrel - they just dont admit that publicly.
The numbers show your blessed blue states of california and New york are far worse off than US average.
I say drill baby drill. Well have another liberal like obama who knows nothing about economics waste billions on pet green energy projects like a123 battery which will only make the far smarter chinese hundreds of millions of dollars.
And fyi, the red states around me like wisconsin are far less polluted than the blue ones like illinois. At least People in milwaukee oe the rest of Wisconsin dont have toxic petcoke covering their bodies, their food, everything in their homes. Amd they are infinitely more fiscally sound than illinois despite lower taxes including no tax on food products whatsoever
