I did the same thing for the ACT's in high school due to my 'sudden diagnoses' by my family doc of ADHD a few weeks before I took the exam. Some Adderall, months, of preparation, a little doctor visit, and I got a 31 composite (97% percentile that year). That got me into a great school with a grant and loads of full ride offers to more 'average/bit above average' schools - which honestly I wish I would've taken but my parents ended up persuading me to take the 1 year grant, work, and go to a superior college than the ones offering full rides.

I didn't do it for the GMAT when I took it but if I didn't get a high score in my first attempt I definitely would've found another stupid doc to diagnose me with ADHD or dyslexia or something to get extra time.

Life ain't fair and you gotta take what you can get when you can get it...
