Not all businesses are successful. In fact most businesses fail with failure rates highest in the hospitality industry. Still though many of the deals he did were extremely lucrative especially with holiday inn stocks and his first few Manhattan flips. Now he basically just lives off lease revenue from the trump name, which he really built. Honestly though with all the money his dad gave him and even more importantly all his political connections he should be richer. The trump brand may be worth a few billion, but as an individual his assets are probably worth somewhere between 400 mil to 1 bil. He should actually be a lot richer.

But yes idk how a person can bankrupt a casino... I mean I can't think of a business with such cash flows. The only way to screw it up is to make your liabilities so great that your enormous cash flow cant even cover short term liabilities which is exactly what he did. He got too cocky and put way too much money in right away instead of scaling. Yuuuuge didnt quite work out for him that time.

Honestly though I think if the crooked dems didn't give the nomination to Hillary despite Bernie having far more support, far larger rallies, etc. trump would've had a very very hard chance winning the election. I think that Bernie may even have beat him. Hillary got pretty close and even a lot of dems hate her but a lot of people genuinely like sanders. Actually I don't think we would've been that bad off under Bernie. He probably would've kept taxes the same, or slightly raise them to promote redistribution, but he wouldn't be bossed around by the Israeli lobby nearly as much. He may be Jewish, but is definitely against aggressive Zionism and is generally understanding and supportive of the Palestinians' plight
