We can't go back in time, Johnny. Besides, those are hardly times to which normal, thinking post-War Americans desire to return. Not everybody was a survivalist, even back then, although they weren't called such in those days, they were "pioneers". While not doubting their obvious tenacity, strength of character, and resolve, different times required different strengths and clearly the Roosevelt Era ameliorated millions of Americans' lives such as heretofore would have remained unimaginable.
