Hence, the discussion is primarily about Polish, but since a good portion of the members aren't Poles and are from the west, the community here discusses topics pertaining to the west - like Donald Trump for example. Since Poland is an EU and NATO member as well as the recipient of much western money - both from business, eu contributions, and imf loans, there is much influence from the west on Poland.

Once again you're seeing things from an American perspective. For such a large country I'm always amazed at that isolationist, parochial view of the world. The 'slave trade' to which you refer, is a tiny part of the history of slavery which is as old almost as man itself. As soon as we began settling in communities and stopped hunting/gathering the practice of slavery emerged and is found in every culture. The sad history of the black community in the Americas is a small part of the story. What about all the Russians and Poles who were enslaved in the Crimea by the Khans?? As an organisation (or rather as a diverse group of very loosely affiliated organisations with no leader or headquarters) it holds no position on 'clericalism' or any other religion - indeed most lodges in the world have a Chaplain who is usually Christian - sometimes Roman Catholic.
