They have really been pushing the Pfizer in my area.
When they called me offering the Pfizer I told them that I preferred the J&J and would wait until there was one available.
She informed me that Dr. Fauci said to take the first one available and I told her that it was my body and that I would decide what was put in it, not some quack that keeps changing his mind to wear a mask, then claim masks do no good, then tell us to wear two masks, and then tells us........and she hung up on me. lol

I'd prefer the Pfizer jab, however if the one they've got at the time is Astra-Zeneca I'll take that happily.

Why would you prefer 1 over the other, especially that statistically the AZ one seems to be safer and in many samples more effective against preventing death and hospitalisations? You're not buying into the EU propaganda campaign are you?

My wife had the Pfizer and I had the AZ.

We are both fine and neither of us had any side effects.

It's very weird how they've declared jihad against AZ which does not have a worse track record (in terms of unwanted side effects) than Pf ....

Also, it'a a traditional vaccine and not gene therapy (in the words of a Moderna executive).

And has the Pfizer CEO had his shot yet?

Euro propaganda is to trash the vaccine that's been critical to the UK vaccination program success, in an attempt to cover up that countries would be 10x better off by going it alone than they have been through blindly putting their faith in the EU program.

Britain is certainly ahead of most other places in the world when it comes to vaccine delivery. One reason I'm getting mine there rather than waiting here.

I'm talking about the public misinformation campaign, the one that started with chip on the shoulder Macron questioning the vaccines effectiveness, and has since intensified (under the guise of the precautionary principle) as AZ don't bow to the EU who are clearly in the wrong in almost every aspect.

In a vaccine sceptic continent, questioning the vaccines at hand is not very smart.

Probably not, since regardless of politics, it's unlikely that the U.K. would have opted into the scheme.


I wonder if the FBI are anywhere near concluding their ongo8ng investigation into him.

That's the biggest problem of the EU (apparently also a problem in German politics) failure has no consequence.

If the UK were run like the EU then David Cameron would probably still be Prime Minister....

How's the vaccination programme over there? It's slow here in Poland and as predicted, the PiSuarzy are mismanagiing it spectacularly.

Xiden stated the whole country will be vaccinated by May. From what I can tell, all the seniors and first responders in my area are getting vaccinated. Our governor is talking about opening the state back up next week. Its almost back to normal except for the mask wearing.... I haven't tried to get a shot yet. Im too young to be in the line. Im not really worried about it, I eat healthy and dont know anyone in my circles that has the virus.

Isn't it sad that it has come to the point that we don't trust what our governments tell us anymore.

Most people broadly do. Any crisis brings out conspiracists though.

When the crisis is man-made. Like corona.
When the 2004 tsunami killed 250,000 there were no conspiracy theories. When the charlatans like Gore told us that Orlando will be a seaside resort in twenty years, conspiracy theories that we are dealing with conmen and crooks flourished.

They have truly messed this one up. It's a case of **** or get off the pot and they did neither.

Governments can't do anything about how viruses copulate and move. If that were the case, Europe - with its billions and the world's best healthcare - would be the place where to hide from this one. Instead, Europe is the world's worst if you want to live.

One issue is that they were so half-hearted early on. The wave could have been over now, rapidly dropping and things getting back to normal.
