It's not so simple, with these bussed in people.

Due to some retarded laws we have in NY, we have a legal obligation to house them, but at the same time - it's illegal for them to work.

In essence, we have set ourselves up for funding their life needs, without a path to them supporting themselves.

I don't know whether or not they should have the right to work - again, it's none of my business - but the current situation does seem like a ticking time bomb.

Yes, the problem with rightists, at least in Poland, is that they expect everybody and everything has to fit their agenda. It is so fekking sick and that is why youngsters and women told them thank you, goodbye in the last elections.

A problem here with leftists too, only the agenda is different.

unpopular here in the States is that their multi-cultural program, featuring affirmative action

Occidental schooling for generations without complaint, was slowly giving way to an unorthodox
offering of scholars, poets, writers, and musicians off the beaten path. Langston Hughes was beginning
to replace Shakespeare under the guise of providing American pupils such as myself with a complete and
more well-balanced schooling.

Intrinsically, nothing wrong with that. However, what happened in the long run was that Hughes and others began
cancelling out Shakespeare, not merely being offered alongside the latter which is what a truly balanced education
ought to be.
