Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 13

Korvinus

That was before 1946 so I don't care.

But I do care about everything that happened from 966 onward.
If a Mexican brigade entered Texas

...National Guard would wait for them on the border lol
Come on dude, just be honest for a second. The fact that Russia is actually fighting on it's OWN territory more than TWO years after the beginning of the SMO is embarrassing.
Yea the Ukrainians will take some losses and will probably have to retreat soon but still it looks bad. It's a big intelligence failure and I'm not even talking about the supposed "defense lines" on the border.
This whole thing only shows how brittle the Putler´s utler´s regime really is - whenever something doesnt go according to the plan, things start to fall apart. The indoctrination of youth in Rusniggerian schools doesnt seem to be all that effective btw, since one would expect to see all these mobik types willing to defend the motherland from "nazis" to the death and yet we see them more then willing to take a free vacation in Ukrainian POW camp.

Belgorod now being evacuated. Not a good look for Russia. And in the Kursk region, Ukraine is now digging trenches and puting together defensive lines to hold the territory. Imagine Vlad will be firing some people sometime soon, or there will be some that fall out windows shortly.

One of Putler's problems is that he will want to keep his best troops close to Moscow in case there is another coup. Instead of oushing the Ukies out in a few days it seems like the North Nigerians are getting pushed further back

What an amazing surprise tactic by the Ukrainians - salute to all their soldiers fighting for democracy !

The fact that Russia is actually fighting on its OWN territory more than TWO years after the beginning of the SMO is embarrassing.

It's a lot worse...

This war should have been over in three months. Or don't do it...

salute to all their soldiers fighting for democracy !

Nobody fights for democracy. Men fight because they are given orders to fight. Once in the fight, they fight to kill and to stay alive. Duh!

Children, don't listen to morons...No, there is no Santa.

Rather amazing how certain historical patterns repeat themselves.

Putin is ultimately a gambler. He initially took calculated risks in Georgia and Syria, then he got bolder and annexes Crimea against the advice of many of his officials. His success emboldened him and he decided that he could get away with conquering Ukraine outright. Reminds me of a certain Austrian painter, who gambled again and again and took his success as a sign for his own infallibility.

Now that the war is going much worse than expected, he could still cut his losses and get a somewhat decent settlement for Russia. Instead he prolonges the war, still hoping that he could achieve a resounding victory. Yet by doing so he is also driving the costs for Russia up. Which means he will need an even more impressive victory in order to justify those expenses. That kind of thinking brought Russia (and Germany, Austria et al.) to ruin in WWI.

Read a funny joke today.

A man from Moscow calls his relative that lives in Kursk:

- Hello there! I trust all is well with you and the family, Nikolai?

- Go to hell you goddamn Muscovite, my name is Mykola now!

Novichok

and annexes Crimea against the advice of many of his officials

Crimeans voted to join Russia. If you have any evidence that the referendum didn't reflect the will of the people, please post the link to it.
Instead he prolonges the war,

Russia prolonged WW2 by refusing to surrender to your criminal fathers and grandfathers. Bad Russians....Shame...

BTW, you should erect a monument to Stalin to show gratitude for his kindness. I would execute every German who entered the USSR without a visa.

This war, just like WW2, is a war of liberation of Donbas and Luhansk of the UA - the aggressor.

Or there is no such thing as self-determination.

12 Aug 2024  #548

Hey, Nazitus, is there such a thing as self-determination or not?

Once we resolve this one, we can move on to the next step.

@Novichok

Russia prolonged WW2 by refusing to surrender to your criminal fathers and grandfathers

And now the roles are reversed. They are the genocidal invaders, while my country is helping their victims to defend themselves. It does feel good to be on the right side of history for once.

Crimeans voted to join Russia

At least you learned from your recent humiliation and own up to your despicable views.

If you have any evidence

We have presented such evidence to you again and again. I don't see any sense in doing so when it is clear that you just ignore it. Everyone has seen it and made up their mind accordingly.

Hey, Nazitus, is there such a thing as self-determination or not

Sure. The Ukrainians did just that in 1994. In a referendum in which the majority of them -including those living in Crimea - voted for an independent Ukraine.

So is the 2014 Crimean referendum OK?

If not, I want a link, not your personal BS.

while my country is helping their victims to defend themselves.

Your country is a US dependency so STFU. The fact that your country likes killing Russians sure helps.

Hahaha!

Maybe Ukraine should fully conquer and then annex Russia?

This suits our purposes also.

The real war criminals are Biden and Boris.

Putin and Russia have a stake in the outcome. Those two sobs don't. What is existential to Z and P, it's a game to B and B.

Ukraine should fully conquer and then annex Russia?

Nah, Ukraine doesn't need any russians, russians are passive, Ukrainians are active....

Only russian oligarchs stealing from the country show any initiative all the rest are just rabbits....

What you are unwilling to admit, is that Ukrainians and Russians are the same people.

The reason they fight so ferociously, despite any realistic gain, or the odds - is because they are Russian.

The Germans, French, and others would have surrendered long ago.

The self sacrificing Jihadi mentality of Ukrainians is there because they are us.

Ukrainians and Russians are the same people.

Exactly! Like Poles and Slovaks. Or Czechs. Laska nebeska! hahahaha

The self sacrificing Jihadi mentality of Ukrainians is there because they are us.

No, they aren`t. That`s your false projection which comes directly from the Kremlin propaganda. They are an independent Ukrainian nation who fight to avoid Russian style dictatorship and bardak in their country.

This is nonsense, every day they are not russian is a day won on their part.

t Ukrainians and Russians are the same people.

russian myths....

russians run away from police and shut up when told to

Ukrainians do neither

If they're the same then why the difference?

Bobko

I love what a romantic vision of Ukraine you have crafted in your mind.

This is nonsense, every day they are not russian is a day won on their part.

For example?

For example being dead, and not being able to witness any of the wondrous things that will happen in the 21st century?

It's maybe ok to be dead, when you have walked this earth for 85+ years... it's a totally different condition when you are dead after just 25 or 35 years.

In general - being around is better than not being around.

Life is better than death.

Korvinus
12 Aug 2024  #563

Btw, 24 years ago on this date, the Kursk submarine sank. The Russian government did not ask for help from the Scandinavian fleets, to avoid the emberassment, and to try to hide the accident. Vladimir Putin decided these people will die instead.

Bobko
12 Aug 2024  #564

@Korvinus

A nuclear superpower does not ask for the help of some midget, even when it is in trouble.

At least that was the logic.

I think, again, that those men would have preferred to be alive.

Alien
12 Aug 2024  #565

Life is better than death

Have they become so collectively insane that they would rather die than become russians? Can it be treated?

Bobko
12 Aug 2024  #566

Most of them understand they are Russians. Especially the Russian opposition figures that rebranded as Ukrainian after the start of the war.

They don't like being told what to do, and how to live.

While they may have some argument, on the above front, they are entirely lost when it comes to the future.

If we are to be successful, the two of us have to learn to respect each other.

The Ukrainians already made us eat humble pie after stopping our invasion. However, if they think they can press this victory home, that would be very foolish indeed.

ha ha ha.... you're reminding me of the debate between Portnikov and Latynina with you in the role of Latynina.... she hates putin but she still thinks in terms of imperial russia and does not seem interested in problems of ordinary citizens or non-russians at all ....
